Does it trip you up not seeing the trap remover aura? I never really played Pig but wondered about that change.
All of my keybindings got remapped again on PC, so its always an experience to remember how I used to play the game. Getting there!
What 50/50 piggy was back in the day you could use two add-ons to make it so that there were only two Billy Boxes. Then you pick one to sit in front of and don't move.
Basically giving whoever you attach to reverse fair trap to a 50/50 chance to escape it.
It was very much a meme build and I loved ending a good competitive night with that as a little bit of extra fun.

I know I can just look this up. But then I couldn't chat with you lovely people. What the hell do the reverse bear traps do? The timer on them is huge and I've never actually had one pop on me.
Hehe, they are mostly just another mechanic to waste survivors time :D Forcing them to go for keys and getting the bear traps off instead of repairing generators. They only activate once a generator pops, then you're on a timer to defuse it or you immediately die.
Smart teams of survivors tend to 99% a few generators and pop them all, then they can leisurely find the keys and get rid of the traps.
It's pretty rare to get any kills with them, but that comes mostly down to luck and what the situation is in the match overall :D
Oh, also if you're the killer, don't chase people with an active beartrap on, as that will pause the timer.
oh dang I didn't know about the chase trick. I'll keep that in mind. I'm gonna try her soon once I'm done having fun with pinhead. Landing those chains is tough but when it works… mmmm baby.
I really do not want this. It serves no benefit to me at all and I'd rather not see random people rage about the game - if they put it on console I hope we can disable it.
There was one but it wasn't very active so I deleted it, this community is quite small compared to others on ERA so this thread encompasses all DbD discussion.
They would probably implement it the same way they did on PC where you can minimize the chat window and it stays that way until you open it again. You are blissfully unaware when someone is raging like a toddler.
I'd like it just to send ggs every so often, basically every killer I play against nowadays is on another platform. It can be minimised on PC so you don't see it.

My enjoyment of this game increased massively when I turned off other player names, set myself to anonymous mode, and turned off PSN messages from non-friends. I have no desire to communicate to anyone in DBD even if most of the interactions would've been positive. I'd be fine with it as long as I can hide / disable it.
Cross progression would be neat if it ends up happening. We'll see if they worked out a deal for platform specific DLC purchases being granted, or if they have to fall back to only DLC purchased with auric cells will transfer.

Please !! I have so much stuff stuck on Playstation and Xbox. I'll probably get shafted in some way with an account merge but it would be so great not having to worry about buying the same character for the third time
I'm not expecting DLC's to cross over in cross-progression as they did a survey aaaages ago that asked if you'd still like cross-progression to come to consoles even if you can't bring your DLC's to other platforms. Hope to be proven wrong though.
Not having DLC being part of cross progression isn't really the problem, that's expected.
The problem is them still selling everything separately and not just having a cutoff at a point where you say "Ok, everything up to this Anniversary is now strictly part of the base game purchase".
And no, the new bigger bundles doesn't do shit. A) they don't include license chapters, you still have to get them separately and B), even with these DLC bundles up to the Mikaela Chapter it's a 70 bucks purchase.
Excluding everything after Mikaela and every single licensed chapter.
That's just insane, how is this acceptable? Your game is 8 f'n years old, at least give me content from the first 6 for like a nice twenty bucks or so.
But besides that, I'm way more scared it will have some cosmetic limitations to some degree and that would be even more awful.

I think the licenses they have just prevent bundling those chapters :/ i think they gotta pay for each purchase a share to different studios and they can't split up a bundle.
I do agree that all original chapters up to like yeah, year 6 should already be included in the basegame :P

They spoke a lot about how they've been balancing it. As it'll be it's whole own thing. Where you choose character classes, there's no hooks and maps are bigger than normal.
Hopefully we'll see gameplay soon.
2v8 being limited to just the first 5 killers is lame. I know probably hard to get it to work but those 5 (except wraith) are some of the most frustrating killers to play against already (and wraith mains make up for it by being notoriously toxic)

It's precisely as to why I'm curious about it. URF in League of Legends was fucking fun if you happened to pick certain champions, but it led to such outcry from the community that the next iteration had champions be random.
I imagine there will be no perks either, then? That would change things up quite a bit.
i'm sure it's just the starting point (and testbed) of this mode. If it's popular they'll keep adding more characters, if not, they'll kill it :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Huntress a bit farther beyond the first 5 killers? She's featured in the gameplay snippet.
I went through the whole process and it says the keys are gone. idk if that's just an error or they're really gone
I saw somewhere that there were 2,000,000 keys. Seems crazy that they'd be gone already, but I guess it's possible.
I got that message quite a few times myself before getting the key. Probably just a badly handled error message, the site was (is?) getting hammered.
I just keep getting stuck in a loop. Get to Steam to link my account and it just takes me back to the Behaviour site and nothing is linked (except PSN). Repeat, repeat, repeat.
at worst Dracula is just a skin for the Wraith, at best a proper chapter. Hopefully a proper chapter, even if it's just a killer one like the Hellraiser one. Dunno if a whipless Belmont would be a good survivor 🔮
