I like that one of these is basically just a Herschel bag.

So I found an island with hybrid cosmos, which is cool and all, but also it was nothing but large fish shadows and so this happened.
So anyone out there who still hasn't found a stringfish, try a few more islands. Might get lucky and find the one I did! Also yes there's a coelacanth in there too without rain somehow. I used some bait at the pier, and that was one of the things I got.

Unlocked terraforming today and started remodelling my residential district.
The painful part is having to slightly move some houses, so time consuming to have to move them out of the way then back again for a small adjustment. Once everything is in position though I will get some paths built.

Oof the miles required to unlock all the permits and path types... gotta start building them up now.
You get it before terraforming, costs 50k bells and can only move one building per day.

I have a storage full of tarantulas that I'm waiting to sell to Flick whenever he decides to show up
Sold him, I think, 46 tarantulas today. And butterflies, just so many butterflies.
Water and ledge construction is 6k each, then there's various paths that are 2k each.
I can just tell you.
To unlock all three terraforming permits (cliff/water/path making) total it is 14,500 miles (6000 each for the first two, paths is 2500) then each individual path type is 2000.
That's not too terrible. I have something like 40,000 Nook Miles right now. I am hardly visiting islands though.

I just spent an hour on an island catching Tarantulas, I COMPLETELY forgot Flick was on my island and sold them in the store for 264,000.
