If you didn't care you wouldn't be crouched down at Grubb's feet awaiting crumbs of info to fall out of his beard. 😉
Bethesda is the one producing the showcase this time 😂I wonder what they've done differently to avoid leaks this time...usually everything leaks by now.

Jez specifically said it wasn't Outer Worlds, from what I remember. It could have been something like Pentiment, I suppose, but all signs point to it being Avowed.I could be wrong, but I don't think it was ever specified what unannounced game they were impressed with. I really doubt Avowed had anything to show in early 2018, anything substantial enough to impress. It's more likely that they saw The Outer Worlds's alpha, which was an unannounced project at the time.
Genuine megaton if it hits game pass and I think Xbox is willing to put down the 💰💰💰 for it. Just gotta hope Atlus is willing to play ballNoticed Xbox Series was listed before everything else here in a purposefully obtuse way. Still feel like this is going to be a day one game pass title. If not at launch then surely soon after.
Kojima game is very early and would be surprised it showing. Maybe just a "we made a deal with HK" type thing at best.
Me: What the hell is that overdosed game then?
Ok so basically the "I'll say what won't be there" from Grubb isn't based on any real info and is just speculation from him?
Crazy that even Jeff doesn't know much about the showcase. Jez doesn't either. lol
Not exactly, for 2 of the games he said he was able to confirm they won't be thereOk so basically the "I'll say what won't be there" from Grubb isn't based on any real info and is just speculation from him?
Fable and Perfect Dark he was able to confirm won't be there, that's it
South Korea is the first country with a cybercafe with PC Gamepass. So far it looks like an experiment and only for 15 days, but it could be a good way to reach more people:
He also talked about how Xbox was going to try and avoid CGI trailers this year. Which could mean no Midnight, no Dragon, and etc IMO.

Well, he knows a bit more then us. These are educated guesses really. He hears internal stories and whatnot from developers and people in the know. So while he might not be 1oo% sure, I am willing to bet those games won't be there.

Ok, sounding like Grubb doesn't really know shit. Amirite? If so, there's one massive, potential spoiler hazard avoided. 😰
This is actually quite fun, this challenge of remaining on Era, while deftly dancing in an effort to not be overly spoiled.
Unfortunately, it only takes one mishap to undo all of my efforts. One hope I have is that anything egregious will be removed before I log in and see it.

KEYWORDS STUDIOS CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS GAME DEVELOPMENT SERVICE LINE THROUGH ACQUISITION OF FORGOTTEN EMPIRES
Keywords Studios, the international technical and creative services provider to the global video games industry, today announced it has acquired Forgotten Empires, a full-service game development studio headquartered in Ohio, USA. The acquisition furthers Keywords' strategy as the 'go to' technical and creative services platform for the global video games industry.
Founded in 2013 by studio head Ryan Shepherd, who will continue to lead the talented team of 53 game developers, Forgotten Empires specialises in the development of real time strategy games ("RTS") including Microsoft's classic franchise, Age of Empires. Forgotten Empires has worked on multiple games including all of the Age of Empires Definitive Editions, Age of Mythology: Extended Edition and Age of Empires IV. Forgotten Empires has also worked alongside Keywords' other game development studios Tantalus, Wicked Witch and Climax Studios on a number of these projects.

Oh we're doing wolf 3 profile pics?? Maybe I can whip something together after work, gotta keep the clown in-tact tho
okay yeah see this is what I thought. Xbox/Kojima deal only started up a year ago, Overdose seems way too soon for that. Does this deconfirm that Xbox insider's "phone streaming" report then?
Microsoft's Age of Empire developer just got bought by someone else for some cool $32.5M.

I'm absolutely baffled that they're still letting this shit happen because it's starting to look like a real clown show over there.
Sorry for the overreaction, I need to calm down first, but it's really ridiculous.
Well that's it for Grubb...... that was it? We're in the clear.
I don't think it's that serious. Keywords worked on these games too with Forgotten Empires, and they are positioning themselves to be an expansive outsourcing company it seems based on the CEOs statements, so... it makes sense for them. I expect MS to still contract with them. Keywords is gonna want work for them, too, after all.Microsoft's Age of Empire developer just got bought by someone else for some cool $32.5M.

Yeah, the only two things he confirmed are things that anyone that follows closely Xbox news already knew that, so you definitely already know without knowing what he said lol
But that's kind of the issue right now, isn't it? Support studios are starting to become key factors to a first-party operation. Keywords is a studio that mostly does support stuff for other studios. They are still gonna work on AoE.

Granted, they'll get a lot of people once the ABK acquisition goes through, but most of them are kinda already accounted for.
I know, it's just the franchise expertise that I'd find hard to let go for that price, seeing how it's going to be harder and harder to retain talent.
It's hard to parse, I'd assume this is not the Xbox game given timing. HK also has more than one project so who knows what it's tied to, along with NR mentioning DS2 and Overdose clearly isn't that. Maybe confusion based on actors involved? We'll just have to wait!
I think they make sense to acquire, especially for things like Nixxes for Sony who really want to push their PC output. But contracting support studios will still look for projects to work on whether they're owned as a subsidiary or not. I think all that would change is they scale up and their rates go up. But rates are going up regardless because they're so in demand. But that's kind of the issue right now, isn't it? Support studios are starting to become key factors to a first-party operation.

Wolf 3 is the same state that the next Dino Crisis is in.
