Yeah, it's hard for a game like this that focuses so much on creativity and surprising the player to advertise itself without ruining all the surprises. You basically have to completely avoid everything pre-launch. This was exactly how I felt about Mario Odyssey when it came out, Nintendo kept making a big deal about how they wanted to fill it with surprises and then I played it and Bowser's Kingdom was basically the only thing in the whole game I hadn't already seen (or had been hinted at) pre-release.I am in the last quarter of the game (at least in terms of brains explored according to the size of the page in the menu) and I'm realising how much of this game got spoiled for me despite my attempts to see as little as possible. I keep wanting this game to surprise me, and it does! But each surprise is quickly followed by an "oh wait, that was someone's profile picture, oh wait that was in a developer interview" etc.
I would give anything to play this game completely blind.
I didn't think of that, but definitely a good catchSo early on I had a suspicion about who the mole was, and I'm curious if anyone else noticed this and had the same thought I did:
When the two of them speak for the first time, Raz asks Truman if he knows who kidnapped him. Truman says he only saw "that psycho in the shower cap". My immediate thought was that it was kind of a harsh line, especially after some of the other agents expressed empathy towards Loboto. At that point I suspected that not everything was as it seemed with Truman. Turns out I was on the right track.
Probably a reach on my part, but it would be neat if this were an intentional and subtle bit of foreshadowing early on that Truman wasn't the real Truman.
Either way, finished it up last night and it was fantastic. Most fun I've had with a game all year.

Reading this conversation made me realize.. the reason he plants were dying wasn't because of the psytanium or whatever poisoning from the rhombus but because of the brain swapI figured it out when he was all like tell no one!! Yeah that is pretty much it, he is the mole. What i was not expecting was that there was someone else involved too. I thought it was just gonna be Truman turned into a bad person but what was actually happening was a real what the fuck is happening right now. Was not expecting it at all. When Truman looks at Nick near the machine and is like uhh, what is he doing here? I was ALSO like holy heck things are about to get weird aren't they.

This is a very, very good game.
I think it scratches that Banjo & Kazooie collectathon itch better than any modern 3d platformer I can think of while also managing to tell a better story than pretty much any other platformer. I just love it.

Question about a side quest in the Questionable Area:im supposed to get Lili a fungus from the top of the Falls. It seemed obvious to jump on top of one of the logs, there's even a platform that seems made for this near where one of the other interns is trying to capture a goat for Boole. But whenever I try I just die. How do you get up there?
The latterHalfway through question:
I just have Bowling Alley Cruller left, and when I entered the bowling alley, a message popped up saying "there's only one fragment of Cruller left on the Motherlobe! Finish up what you want to do before continuing"... Is this a true point of no-return? I.E. I cannot go back to 100% old levels or do sidequests? Or is it just gonna pull me away from the Motherlobe for a few missions/levels and then I can come back and continue the scavenger hunt etc?
You will need a particular ability to access it.
The slow time ability from the Psi King level
You can do it with good timing on the log closest to the area you jump off from without the time ability.

I kind of prefer the story focus. The extra amount of dialogue reminds me of the older LucasArts games.
played for an hour, lotta fun.
Might wait until next time I do mushrooms before playing more

If you do this, be sure to report back. You'll probably advance only 3 minutes into the game though lol.
Where are you going to change the frame rate? Does it automatically enable when you change it in the system settings?
on the option pushing start button LOL
maybe " visual " ?
You can change framerate to 120fps only on Xbox Series X
Finished. I'm going to miss this world and characters so much. A masterpiece.
♫ Grulovia, Grulovia, forever shining bright ♫
Had that tune stuck in my head all day.
How well is the game performing on PC. Does it have bugs? Should I wait a month or jump in whenever I have time. How long to beat the game?
Thanks for answering.
