I think the best scenario is to slow down the rate of infection as best as possible so that healthcare doesn't crash. Wait and hope a vaccine is available sometime next year.What's an endgame scenario look like for these things? I can't recall anything similar in the U.S. so I don't have any experience. It's "in the wild" so to speak already, and a vaccine is 12-18 months away, so at this point it's just going to sweep through, right? I know public events are being cancelled but we can't cancel work, school, trips to the grocery, etc for 12-18 months. Is there any other feasible plan?
Like, I'm pretty resigned to the fact that I'm going to get it and just trying to limit my contact with the elderly (but even that's untenable over 18 months).
