I kinda doubt it. I think its just really bad marketing from Square for the game. For example even with the PC problems it sits at Mostly Positive user reviews on Steam.

One year after announcement, Ring Fit Adventure has blown away all expectations.

Ghost of Tsushima still has some legs to be in the top 10.

Momotaro Dentetsu (a former Hudson IP). Has been a good seller in the past including a 3DS version a few years ago. Pre-orders have been doing really well on Amazon. Releasing this year as Switch exclusive.
