They basically had no competition and there are a ton of third party games there.

Other than Horizon 2, what games will you think they'll be? Let's not delude ourselves here. PS3, and PS4's first two years of exclusives post launch were mediocre, and sparse. Sony has not yet demonstrated they can provide a satisfying exclusive lineup for the first 2 years of their new console launches.

Sounds like original release was scheduled for May, got pushed later for TLOU.

Schreier says it still is PS4, i hope it is cross-gen, or at least that whatever compatibity mode is there has all the bells and whistles.

SP had a release window internally and they then delayed the game as a result of the TLOU 2 delay. ND shouldn't give us a release date they can't make.

Well, fuck me. Ghost of Tsushima is easily my most anticipated game since its release. And competition from FF7R is tough.

Yeah, but I doubt that will happen now.

Ghost has always been a PS4 game, shown running on Pro.

They're not going to cancel it for PS4.

And Ghost has never been officially delayed since it never got a release date to begin with, unlike TLoU II.

That PS2 lineup was epic, but more than half of it is from third-party companies. Sony has set themselves up and their pipeline to support a sharper turn around, there's no complex architectures to weave in and out of, and there are some of their studios have not released games in quite some time.

Studios that could have games ready for the PS5's first year:
Bluepoint, Guerrilla, Insomniac, Japan Studio, Polyphony Digital.

So what games?
Demon's Souls Remake, Horizon 2, Ratchet & Clank 2, Toyama's new game, Gran Turismo 7.

I don't think these seeing these games in the PS5's first 12-15 months is unrealistic at all.

I don't really think anyone thought GoT was a 1/2 2020 game.
I expect it to be ps5 launch game

GOT in September

PS5 launch in November with Horizon 2, Gran Turismo 7 and Bluepoint's remake. Sounds ok.
