I would prefer if he made a young justice movie, or teen titans (if only the tv show didn't exist).. .

I mean you have the characters and Gunn could easily just write a new story. It doesn't have to be a direct sequel. There's plenty they could do with this.

You don't need to use the same characters, that's kind of the point of the team in the comics. They are by definition expendable. I hope they bring back Deadshot and Boomerang at least the rest I can do without.
The best thing would be if he hired all the current Guardians.
The first movie sucked, but Robbie, Smith, and Davis were all good enough that I wouldn't mind seeing them reprise their roles with better direction and a better script, so... I'm okay with this.
loved his work on guardians, less so for guardians 2 but he still had some fun ensemble dialogue
i just hope that whoever ends up on this actually makes these guys intimidating. they're supposed to be bad guys but all that movie gave me was a bunch of dorks with barely much of a threat to them. and they all became best buddies at the end for some reason when I expected them all to be at each others throats most of the flick. basura

This is one of the most embarrassing botches Disney could have made. It's honestly incredible how badly they fucked this up.
I don't think Slipknot and diablo were as big pulls as the others. It's far from unsalvageable. Better villains would already make it 70% better
I just saw 2 so I guessed it would be a direct sequel of sorts but yeah that could work, The guy in unbelievably talented and will get me in the theater no matter what he makes.
