Oh, that's a good idea.
How else could they charge you $50* for it?
* Made up price just to be an ass, I don't believe they've announced a price.
It's 29.99. Says it at the end of the ad.

Awesome, sold. My guess is this soft "confirms" that DS5 is going to have back paddles.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like an OLED screen is wildly unnecessary. Why not use a cheaper display and cut down the price?
I imagine since it's a mostly black screen an OLED would draw very little power while still being able to show all the necessary information.I don't understand why you even drive up the cost one more penny for an OLED but go off Sony.
Probably. I actually kind of like the idea that the inputs are configurable right on the controller instead of having to go into some settings app.I assume the led will turn off when not programming buttons into it.
Why not have just made their own version of the elite controller? Like this seems like you're paying half the (full) price of a Dualshock 4 for 2 buttons and a small screen you aren't even able to look at

Sony trying to see just how low they can make the DS4 battery life.Having an OLED screen on the back of your controller is an interesting decision.
