Dude I'm already doing that for Watchmen. There's only so much I can take.

Dave Lang playing some Outer Worlds right now. Reminds me that it might be between that or Control as my final AA/AAA game on PC I'll likely play this year. I thought about Jedi Fallen Order and no matter the review scores, I just remembered that if my PC can't handle Sekiro, it has no prayer for Star Wars which is gonna be the more graphically intense game. Control would be good because I hear you can beat that game in 10 hours and Jeff's review for it on PC said it was very well optimized. Outer Worlds though it the cheaper option if I can get XBOX Gamepass to work on my PC. Thought how is the optimization for OW? I saw the PC version has the lowest MC score of all the versions of that game. Does it mean the PC version has more issues that the console ones?
On the one hand I am interested in the idea of making the entire journey a conflict(the environment is your enemy) rather than using the open world to go to said conflict as it is in every other regular open world game. On the other hand though, I do not think I am able to take 50 hours of this so there better be some bad ass upgrades hidden in the side missions.
the RDR entry in that list was the one I saw going around Twitter and that was pretty terrible
I don't care about how people actually include or exclude or order things, though
christ alive. i have trouble enough walking about in Real Life, i want to escape to a world of flippy flips and high kicks not fumbly wumblies.
this is the real sweeties feetieschrist alive. i have trouble enough walking about in Real Life, i want to escape to a world of flippy flips and high kicks not fumbly wumblies.
has that started already?
QWOP?this reminds me of these old flash games in which you try to control a drunk character
You use an engine created by a game company that makes mediocre Sony exclusives, instead of the awesome engine you spent almost a decade creating for another company.
This is some Resident Evil 6 shit lol
i'm not sure how this has anything to do with the engine choice, this is a game design thing. also without that engine the game probably wouldn't be out this week. You use an engine created by a game company that makes mediocre Sony exclusives, instead of the awesome engine you spent almost a decade creating for another company.
I'm not going to say if DS's gameplay is bad or not because I haven't played it.You use an engine created by a game company that makes mediocre Sony exclusives, instead of the awesome engine you spent almost a decade creating for another company.
No, but that works too. But I was more thinking of something like this:
Also, I feel like people are often neglecting Red Box, which will have Death Stranding this week.
GB-Era, I present you with a crisis in my household. How do I convince my partner, that doesn't play games, that when I skip a level in Mario Maker 2 that it's just a bad level and I don't just need to get good?
I'll just confine myself to the garbage bin and get carried for the rest of my life 😭sorry to say your partner sounds more like a cool gamer than you
hey you know, its a valid way to live!I'll just confine myself to the garbage bin and get carried for the rest of my life 😭
YOu do that by playing Luigi's mansion 3GB-Era, I present you with a crisis in my household. How do I convince my partner, that doesn't play games, that when I skip a level in Mario Maker 2 that it's just a bad level and I don't just need to get good?
I've actually been considering that as a co-op game. Anyone have co-op impressions with someone who doesn't play games?
if you got through overcooked, you should be fine.I've actually been considering that as a co-op game. Anyone have co-op impressions with someone who doesn't play games?
And I mean like fps controls absolutely baffle, but we got through overcooked.
I'll have to hold the controller to really know how it feels but every time I see a gif or video of Sam with a shit-ton of packaging on him he just doesn't look heavy enough. I remember some other video of him bouncing down a hill and the character just kept flipping around and resetting animations.
Huh, I didn't know Until Dawn was Decima. That explains why the faces looked so good most of the time.just remembering all those times i fell over and lost all my items in other such decima engine games such as horizon zero dawn and until dawn.
Anyone that's familiar with GB should know that you can easily look like a moron when playing MGSV.Nothing about that gif implies the controls are bad. You can also shoot wildly into the air in MGS5 and look like a buffoon, that doesn't mean it controls poorly.
Redbox around me are picked clean pretty quickly by thieves. I rented a printed out copy of the qr security code when mhw came out four times in a row.

my partner and i love the co-op

i think its about 50/50 on controls. i know for once i dont want to play a game with the pro controller because it just feels terrible....wait, I'm realizing something: if you're both holding a joycon, there's no right stick and they have to design the controls around that
...so are the controls better when you're using only one joycon?
I guess we'll get a lot more on the Bombcast today, now that the embargo's partially over. Oughta be some hot takes all around.Jeffs "Truck Simulator meets QWOP" line sounds so apt for this game

is not liking a game a hot take? or is not liking a starfucker Kojima game a hot take?I guess we'll get a lot more on the Bombcast today, now that the embargo's partially over. Oughta be some hot takes all around.
No I mean Jeff is going to come blazing. And Brad's going to counter with superlatives. It'll be hot.is not liking a game a hot take? or is not liking a starfucker Kojima game a hot take?
i mean exclusives already alienate people.i think any opinion is a hot take if you phrase it in such a way as to intentionally alienate a certain group of people
