No, it's apparently all of them now. I don't know the dudes' names but it kept getting mentioned that the other guy hopped off hard.
Oh yeah I remember that. Footage looked rough and seemed like the frame rate was all over the place.
Then again BOTW is still a mid 80s game for me so....lol
Oh yea. Well, if it turns out not so hot there's other games up to get GoTY.

fridays Beastcast. It's way more than hints. He makes it about as clear as you can without outright saying it that he hates the game.
I follow most of GB's content and I have no idea what you're talking about.
He was dropping hints in the last Beastcast podcast. He said that in hindsight, RDR 2 was probably not as bad as he had initially stated last year. He also mentioned that he's only looking forward to the new Call of Duty and that Outer Worlds game. Also added that he had nothing big to play as of right now.
Regarding the later spoilers, is it gonna be divisive because the gameplay doesn't change over the course of X hours or the story being bad?
People do this shit every single time like every time, it happen with God of War and Horizon before release with leak stuff as well people love to try and build narratives before a release

Me neither. I only heard Dan dropping hints that he dropped it in the last Beastcast while also saying that some others in the crew are still playing it.

Really annoying now that the review embargo is so far away. Like, Jesus. I'd be pretty bummed if this turns out to be very mediocre. I don't think reviewers are gonna axe it because it tries something new. If it scores low Imma gonna assume it has big flaws.

Totally off-topic, but BR 2049 was a runaway success on every front but commercially (and that was mostly because Sony Pictures and partners went overboard with the budget, though, that's exactly why the movie looks as good, so a big "thank you" to those crazy producers).
Most fans of the original also enjoy the sequel. I think these two could only be comparable if Death Stranding fails to attract an audience, which right now is hard to imagine. First, it needs to be a critical success, and judging by the spirits around here, that's probably going to be the hardest mountain to climb. But who knows, this feels like a roller-coaster, today is a terrible game and tomorrow someone will say it's the best thing ever done.

Pre purchased it yesterday, I'll be glad to play it even if it's a trainwreck at this point, I want some Kojima weirdness!
I really need another slow game in my life rn, there is just something really relaxing about doing menial tasks, stuff like the recent untitled goose game gave me great pleasure from honking around and doing funny stuff, I suppose DS is full with humour as we can expect from Kojima.
Star wars getting glowing previews has probably swayed me not to get this on release now.
I think the game will be good but from the sounds of it there is too much I'm not going to like.

they all have review copies. Dan has already given up and will no longer be playing the game. He hated RDR2 last year but now recognizes that it was trying to do something and he feels better about what it was trying to do versus another game he was really looking forward to playing and has bounced off
Have you ever played stuff like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley? Very different than what DS is going for, but those are pretty great relaxing games built around a menial task (farming).
I prefer to wait and see. All these "hints" looks like a narrative that people are making.

Some people I saw on twitter got a review code in the last couple of days, long after the initial wave.
Maybe Sony handed out extra review codes without the NDA attached?
I don't really think this is a case of people building a narrative. Unless Dan is doing one of his wrestling "get one over on the people ha-ha-ha" routines then he made it abundantly clear that he is not a fan.
I mean I wouldn't put it past Dan, he does love to mess with the audience, but it seemed very clear what he thought of it. IF nothing else, none of the somewhat vague things he said could be mistaken for positives.
Absolutely, there's a few first hints, and then he revisits it later on noting that he has nothing to play right now and is looking forward to Modern Warfare. No subtle at all in his comments. I got the impression that he's done with the game after a few play sessions. As with RDR2, it also seems he was too over-hyped
Correct, I do not vote on the nominees or winners at TGA.
They've produced worse and more expensive games, this generation and potentially this year. Business will go on as usual, looking forward to what's next. Besides, Andrew House was the top man behind this and he left the company a while ago. Let's not forget either the game could be very succesful, whatever critics think (Days Gone comes to mind).

I wouldn't mind an exploration-focused game with less action if the environments are gorgeous and varied. Are they, based on impressions?
