I wouldn't be shocked to hear them say "we signed up dead people to prove there's fraud!"after glorious leader told people to vote twice a while back

That isn't what I'm saying at all. I don't buy that we are necessaruly so centrist, the policies poll very well independent of label, it's branding, moreso than an actual aversion to progressive policy. Now granted there is an aversion to progressive SOCIAL policy in wide swaths of the electorate, but we aren't just going to stop fighting for social equality. Something like abortion or gay marraige loses you alot more voters than Universal Healtcare or Free college, but it's still right to fight for both, and you aren't going to gain alot of voters by espousing conservative economics. Florida passed a 15 dollar minimum wage after all.

Right, I don't disagree with pretty much everything said. I would say though, that $15 an hour is a much easier sell to the masses (even lower class republicans don't mind being paid more)- but BIG progressive wish list items- stacking/re-vamping the supreme court, healthcare for all, ditching the filibuster, statehoods for DC/Puerto Rico, etc- sad to say, these are likely so far off the plate now. Again, don't get me wrong, would LOVE to see all of them, and you don't stop working towards it, but you have to be smart about it (not the progressive version of a bull in a china shop analogy)

Most states are called way before they have stopped counting, and that's ok. WI, for instance will not have a finalized count until Dec1.

but all the info is public knowledge so there is no reason to wait in many instances it is statistically obvious who the winner will be well in advance.
There's a difference between counting and certifying. WI is done counting. There are no more outstanding votes. They will now go about the certification process for the official results until Dec 1. That involves checking counts of randomly selected machines, etc.

They are going to try and muddle with networks calling NV today by moving before they dump vote results... it's kind of late to do that now though in a state worth 6 EV's when your going to lose PA lol

Just woke up. Time to refresh this thread for another 14-16 hours. Hoping for some good news today.

literally my only source of election news since election night because i am anxious as fuck. And i know when the tallies are supposed to be coming in, but i'll compulsively check this thread because maybe there is some super secret info that comes in that'll calm me down.

Why isn't Stacey Abrams running in one of the two race? She's one of the most popular faces in the democratic party I would assume and for such an incredibly important senate race you'd think they would put her on the ballot instead of her doing just underground work.

same reason Beto didn't run for that senate seat in Texas

With Trump launching lawsuits at every state that's still counting votes, that's a good sign right? I mean who would file lawsuits against states where he might be doing well in?

I agree, to an extent. All I would add is that just a few years ago 15 dollars an hour for the minimum wage was considered to be a radical pie on the sky idea. That's why we keep pushing!

Dems did want her to, she wasn't interested.

I have nothing to add other than I hate this cycle and states shouldn't release any data at all until 100% of the votes are counted going forward. Just rip the bandaid off in one go as they finish. I know the media would hate it because there is no circus but it removes all of this "the number changed! They cheated!" Bs. Vote counting is quiet literally not a race, the outcome is entirely binary so just wait until the count is finished.
The issue isn't that states give partial results as much as certain states aren't allowed to pre-canvas. Had every state processed votes as quickly as, say, Florida, it'd have been over.

The lawsuits from the Trump campaign and positivity from the Biden campaign mean they both have seen the numbers and know the final outcome is only a matter of time.

Last PA update was 2k for Trump, 20k for Biden. Power of destruction indeed.
Holy shit.

These late votes are fucking insane in these states.

You watch at home and the leads just disappear.

I wish we could see the tears and anguish for the Trump team and his biggest supporters every time the numbers drop.

She spent a good chunk of time getting herself considered for the VP slot and now I'd imagine she's coming for Brian Kemp's punk ass in 2022.

Is Kamala generally more left than Biden? I feel like I know less about her than I should, but every time I learn something about her it seems like she's pretty centrist (and based on the left's general reaction to her being picked, not even close to being "more left than Bernie Sanders" lmao)
kamala is the reason for massive black turnout
Am glad am done with this family.
i thought shane mcmahon was democrat?=
