Biden is a terrible candidate and I have million fucking things to do that are better than voting for someone as dumb as him. I live MA so what does it even matter? But whatever ignore that keep calling people "weak willed" that's gonna get people side with you.
I'm sure you've had posts babying you as well as being mad at you. You've made up your mind that you are cool with Trump, and people like that cannot have their minds changed.

biden is gonna pick someone that will net him something

either a state or a lot of support

i could see him reaching out to warren, but like i said before, i dunno if she'd be up to it

in the end it'll probably end up being a safe pick aimed at helping him win a swing state
Isn't MA's governor Republican?

I see Biden going with Klobuchar or Beto.

What's with all the speculation about Warren and Bernie? My impression is that Biden is going to coast into the delegate number needed.

Warren's camp has been in talk with Sander's and Biden's camp about her exit strategy. It seems almost a sure thing that she is dropping, the question is what she does after that.

People are hoping Warren will drop and support Bernie and give him a boost like Amy, Pete and now Bloomberg did for Biden.

I think Biden is going to win regardless of what she does.

Could Bernie pull a Ted Cruz and pre announce his VP? (Warren?)

He needs something big and headline grabbing to boost his campaign and fast

biden was the presumptive front runner until a couple of weeks ago. He has been receiving that level of scrutiny all along

No he hasn't, at least not from the general public, and not in the way he'll get from a two man race in which he is the front runner. There will be no one else to report on besides him and Bernie. Every silly and possibly senile gaffe he makes will be in the news cycle longer, magnified by the lack of other candidates in the news. And now that the primaries are in full swing are when most voters will start paying attention.

Biden and Bernie will each get about 45 min at the next debate if warren drops out. The American voters are really going to see what these guys are made of and if they have the stamina to run a winning campaign against Trump

No they won't. Best case 20 million watch the debate and most of them won't be voting. Unless something truly outrageous happens that gets a lot of media airtime after the fact, the debate won't do squat.

Is it possible Warren drops, endorses Biden, and then gets picked as VP so Biden can cozy up to the progressive bloc?
This would be a hilarious move on her part, considering she got her start in politics opposing Biden's bankruptcy bill. That just might destroy her reputation with said progressive bloc

Yeah, so do I. Not sure why she would put herself out there when Biden seems guaranteed. His delegate count probably will settle around 1000 after last night is counted. She's already in a weird spot losing Massachusetts.

That said I voted for her in Texas.

I supported Yang behind Bernie and Warren, which many progressives disagreed with that. Yang was doing the same as Bernie was. Yang was attacking the media for the same reason Bernie does, because they kept making blunders to erase the candidates (relative to respective success of campaigns) presence, compared to how they propped up Klobbz every time.

He was fighting a lot of the same battles as Bernie. However, it seemed like he would make friends with whoever he came into contact with. Many moderates and even republicans liked him.

You wake up tomorrow morning and check the news. Bernie Sanders has announced a press conference for 2 pm eastern time. You tune in. He announces he's chosen a running mate, raises his arm, and welcomes Hillary Clinton to the stage.

Also I bet Warren supporters would ar best split 60/40 for Bernie/Biden. Warren really is in between the two.

Good versus Democrats doesn't mean good against Trump. What good does it do if the votes that go to Biden won't help him win a general election?

I'm a big Bernie fan. He's my first choice. I've given him a stupid amount of money and phone banked for him. If Bernie can not convince people that he's the right choice to take on Trump, he's failing as a politician. I dunno what else to tell you.

You can blame the voters for being too afraid to risk it on Bernie, and trying to play it safe with Biden. You can blame it on the democratic and economic establishment for coalescing around Biden. You can blame it on the media for spreading the narrative of spooky socialism. You can blame it on whoever you want. But the buck stops with Bernie. If he cannot shape his rhetoric and campaign into something that convinces and inspires a majority or plurality of democratic voters, he failed. And would likely struggle in a one v one with Trump

I hope is Beto O'rourke as Biden's VP. Remember if Biden wins his VP will naturally be running for the presidential nominee as it will be a huge head start in name recognition.
