I cannot wait to hear the new OST.
I wonder if the new MOS rendition we hard way back then was part of it:
Fingers crossed! I need more of that.

He's done when it comes to theatrical DC films, but I wouldn't rule out a continuation of the Snyderverse on HBO Max in some form if Snyder's Justice League proves to be a huge win for the service. Despite being owned by AT&T, HBO Max and WB are separate entities. Just because WB no longer wants to work with Zack Snyder (assuming here), doesn't mean that HBO Max won't. This is why I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the Snyderverse continuing on HBO Max even though I think it's highly unlikely.Imagine if is actually good
maybe the executives will give him another shot
The film follows a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, where a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble by venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
Except, apparently, in this one.
Whats the point of this? Justice League represented the failure of DC trying to create a cinematic universe and they have been on the path of a new direction. Cavill, Affleck, and probably Miller now are all gone so they just should have let it die. Now they are working on this extended cut that could be pretty successful and lead to what exactly? They aren't going to make another one like it, the next Justice League will be another reboot
I'm pretty sure Zack has a new netflix movie coming out? Something about a gas station and an army of zombies?
That sound pretty decentI'm pretty sure Zack has a new netflix movie coming out? Something about a gas station and an army of zombies?
Edit: https://cosmicbook.news/zack-snyder-wraps-army-dead-netflix
something i think he will do a lot better at than superheroes, but i might be biased in that i love a good heist movie
Then I shall wear that badge with pride.
yeah I think Zack will do good in that, I'm excited for the premise and the cast, and he has good talent shooting action so an action film should be a better avenue for him.Yes, its called Army of the Dead
Staring, among other people, Bautista.
Sounds like a great premise, casino heist during a zombie outbreak

The absolute worst thing in JL, among all of its other bad additions and reshoots, was its ending.
You have a genuinely cool shot of superman doing his classic shirt pose and . . . There's no MOS Score
Ahem, this, was, in fact, the worst thing in the film, the literal final shot :
Not at all.So... they intend on shoving Affleck back in the batsuit? Getting a mustache-less Cavill back in? Because they still intended and needed to do reshoots prior to his departure, and before Whedon had to radically rework the film.
I mean, yes.Yep, Avengers, Buffy, Firefly, Dr. Horrible, Cabin in the Woods, his Astonishing X-Men comics run.
All such garbage.
- Whedon's AXM is ass, so sorry, not sorry, and not even Cassaday's art could salvage that trainwreck; but yay, back in spandex, wheeeee, groan, kill me now, oh fuck, I guess hyperbole is back again, yes, it's worse than Chuck Austen, &@?%§!
Thank you!!!ERA has spent the past 4 years abusing, making fun of, trolling relentlessly and just being mean spirited about Zack Snyder and his movies. You have the same people saying that Snydercut people are toxic but refuse to actually look in the freaking mirror at themselves. Have you guys seen the way you talk about Zack Snyder here?
This movies/shows existence does not affect you in anyway. No idea why you can't just let people enjoy whatever the fuck they want to enjoy without trying to spoil it for them. Then agains mods participate in it too so you know.
Let's not forget this is the forum where some person made a Man of Steel topic to shit on it because they were not happy that TROS was getting bad reviews.
What auto correct?
Not really, no. The only good thing it accomplished was shooting Kitty Pryde into space, but she sadly came back to be annoying anew.Okay, so it's officially hard to take this seriously.
That "trainwreck" is one of the all-time great X-Men runs.
Snyder's daughter died and he left the film before it was finished. WB brought in Whedon to finish it and he ended up reshooting and cutting stuff.I think I need some information on the original issue.
When he was directing the original movie, did his budget get cut or something? I just know Superman had a fake mouth in the beginning and maybe the film cut reduced a bit. Not sure what the big deal is.
There were already 2 weeks of reshoots planned prior to the Whedon shift, and after the announcement from WB, that schedule went from 2 weeks to 2 months. That doesn't mean reshoot footage that was intended under Snyder was seen through as planned, or even filmed at all.Not at all.
This seems to be something a lot of people don't really understand. Basically every big budget movie has scheduled reshoots these days.
That doesn't mean they don't go into production with a full shooting script, and it doesn't mean that the initial shoot is incomplete.
Reshoots are desirable often enough that it makes sense to schedule them and contract the actors for them. You shoot the whole movie and wrap, then you edit together what you have, and decide what parts could be improved, are unclear, whatever.
They shot the entire movie as scripted by Snyder. They don't need to bring anyone back to reshoot anything (though they are doing some ADR as is common in post production) and aren't bringing anyone back for reshoots.
I can't imagine that Snyder was the one who wanted to bring in Joss Whedon to add comedy to the movie, as was the original plan for the reshoots. That sounds like the studio to me.
TLDR. They shot a complete story. All big budget movies schedule reshoots and use them to try and improve what they have in the can, although that doesn't always bring the movie closer to what the director envisioned.
I've read nothing to suggest the original shoot was incomplete or a mess, and judging from the Whedon comedy in the final picture I'm not sure the film was improved by those changes.
Not really, no. The only good thing it accomplished was shooting Kitty Pryde into space, but she sadly came back to be annoying anew.
Wait... you think people not liking the movies you like should be a moddable offense?Thank you!!!
This has gone on for years with mods never batting an eye even when reported. It's actually something that just came right over wholesale when Era was even created. Why do you think people stayed in the Hangouts thread for so long, just to get away from this damn abuse and just straight up toxicity. Seriously people have a little damn introspection and look at what some of you are actually typing here and have been typing every single damn time this topic even comes up.
I'm not trolling, I just don't like a thing you do. Big whoop.Okay, so you're trolling. Never mind. This is usually what happens with the hyperbolic Whedon hate.
I love this enthusiasm, considering this was memed into existenceSUCK A DICK ERA!!!
Go DC!

They're assembling the crew back together, could cost around $30M,
"It is currently unclear what form Snyder's Justice League will take. Whether it will be released as an almost four-hour director's cut or split into six "chapters" has yet to be decided, but the Snyders are now in the midst of reassembling much of their original postproduction crew to score, cut, add new and finish old visual effects, and, yes, maybe bring back many of the actors to record additional dialogue."
There is nothing wrong with saying you dislike a movie and why. Not at all. What is wrong is people insulting, lying, posting misinformation, trolling, harassing, being dismissing, etc of and to other posters. Generally saying untrue stuff and trying to make it seem like fact about people and things. That stuff does and has been modded in the past when it comes to many things. However that shit has been allowed to run wild in DC threads for years.Wait... you think people not liking the movies you like should be a moddable offense?
What auto correct?
Not really, no. The only good thing it accomplished was shooting Kitty Pryde into space, but she sadly came back to be annoying anew.
Why so negative on this, regardless of if it's garbage or not, it's a totally different direction and film. It'll be certainly an interesting watch and it's GOOD they are allowing the original version to be shown.Oh boy this is gonna be such a spectacular trainwreck, considering Whedon barely managed to make the film mediocre instead another trashfire like BvS, I can only imagine how bad Snyder actually doing his own fully solo directing take on the film is gonna be. There's no way this'll be even remotely good, his track record with DC material has been abysmal.
Holy shit I didn't know. I apologize if I came off like a jerk.Snyder's daughter died and he left the film before it was finished. WB brought in Whedon to finish it and he ended up reshooting and cutting stuff.
Opinions vary on how much Snyder's exit was voluntary.
Can we get an Ayer cut of Suicide Squad too? That one needs it just as badly.
*Buffy is mediocre*I mean, yes.
If I am to be serious instead of over the top hyperbolic for a minute:
- I thought the first Avengers was boring quip fest and did not enjoy it at all, haven't even watched Age of Ultron
- Buffy is mediocre (and the original movie is just straight up bad)
- Firefly is probably one thing of his that I like the most and that's just because it got mercifully cancelled before he could properly Whedon it up with his angst shit (or not, given Serenity and the comics)
- Cabin and Horrible I haven't watched
- Whedon's AXM is ass, so sorry, not sorry, and not even Cassaday's art could salvage that trainwreck; but yay, back in spandex, wheeeee, groan, kill me now, oh fuck, I guess hyperbole is back again, yes, it's worse than Chuck Austen, &@?%§!
But hey, maybe Whedon will also get to come back to some of his properties and we will finally get that Inara gang rape storyline, can't wait
How are you calling Snyder trash and then batting for Whedon in the same breath smh
Morrison, Carey. Not much of a Marvel fan, really.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
