Picked up an XSS on Microsoft's site. Will mostly be a back compat machine, so I didn't see the need for an X.
Exact same happened with me. Never seemed to go through but an email showed up.

Check your e-mail. I did that too and it never went through until I noticed it went through awhile ago and I never got a confirmation screen.
MS Store wouldn't let me completed my purchase, still trying. Never saw anything on Amazon, Walmart out of stock somehow, sign :(
