I think people should stop expecting any form of game pass on ps5, switch. That isn't every going to happen. Internal studios aren't making games that will run on those platforms. At this point its just xbox/pc. First party devs can focus solely on that.

It's because Twitter is their strongest PR play this gen. Every event they've held since at least e3 2019 has been divisive. Every tweet they put out gets good press and lots of love.
Personally, I want them to stop having events and just focus on blogs and twitter posts. I'm hype every day for new news at 9AM. Maybe at a maximum, run developer diaries like State of Play on YouTube. I get everyone wants to be hype and excited but in reality, they've RARELY met the expectations of critics.
Playing brutal legend for the first time ever and man is double fine a great pickup. all their games just ooze character. shame this never got the 4k treatment

I agree. But in the case of the UI I just hope they don't listen, because fact of the matter is a 4K UI needs more RAM, which would mean less RAM for games.
I think that's a underestimated advantage, because as a first party you have access to a great studio family, which can help you with advice or share tech.

The first thirty minutes or so of Brutal Legend is maybe the best game I've ever played. After that, I feel like things fall apart pretty quickly. I would love to see Double Fine take another run at it even though it seems very unlikely.
One of the things the OS used to do way back was with specific achievements, you could have the achievement take you to the mode/section/game type you need in order to get the achievement. It would just take forever for the game to boot and load into that option for it to be useful.

Honestly, they should just fire everybody in the Brazil Team and hire new people. It's disgusting, plain and simple.
I think so, but I guess no one was fired, the only thing that happened was the disassociation of the MS brand with the group, and some legal process.
However in my opinion, it was too late (they took years to take some action), now the Xbox Community in Brazil is really really toxic.

First person shooter RPG. Now, TECHNICALLY, you could say The Outer Worlds was this too. But, I imagine they have something else in mind.
Honestly, I love first-person RPGs because of how much more they bring me into the game world. Of course, third person games have their own advantages, but it's never the same for me. Avowed, Starfield, Elder Scrolls, The Outer Worlds, Fallout, Arkane's immersive sims..... keep this train rolling inXile.
