1080 and still doing okay, I imagine once some games from the current gen hit PC is when it'll start to hurt.

Then again, my backlog is so big I'm set for quite a while with older games I can run fine.

MSI 1080, signing in.
Mine might be nearing the end of it's life, though. It definitely needs a thorough clean.

1080 here.

What's interesting is the vast bulk of modern/current titles I play, indie to AA, still run at 60/120fps on Max settings.

Will likely upgrade to 3-series sometime down the line when supply stabilizes out, but I'm no no rush at all atm.

6gb 1060 with a i7-9700k oc'd to 5ghz. There's a lot it can still do, but at times the struggle/bottleneck is definitely felt.

1080ti. I gave up on you upgrades for the time being. I just hope there aren't any upcoming games that require rtx to even function.
I also got a 970 in an old system as backup.

I was rocking a 1080Ti until I finally snagged a 3090. So now I'm doing a build for the Mrs w/ my old 1080Ti. The Aorus card was definitely a looker and I miss it dearly haha! I also have a laptop w/ a 1660 Ti? Only use it for work though..

Made a move from a 3gb 1060 to a 1660 super in the 2019 holidays season --literally right before the lockdowns hit.

On a. 1080 screen, it gets the job done, so doubt I'll be switching until holidays 2022 at the earliest

Using a 1080 ti. Not great, not bad. I'll wait until things get back into stock. With the advent of SSD in consoles, I find them much more usable and don't get as frustrated with them.

1660, got it right before the GPU shitshow started, kinda shocked the price even those are going for at the moment.
It does what i need for art stuff and can run most of the games i play at 1080p/60s which is fine for someone not bothered about 4k at the moment.

My 1060s and even my 970s are still in the game till I replace them.

Having one ampere doesn't replace the other 5.

I'm rocking a 1060 still. I've been looking into getting one of those 3000 series, but they are just too expensive in here.

1080TI here.

Performance on new consoles is making me.think I can wait a couple years until a 3080 is easily available and cheaper.

Still having a 970 here. In my local store I have seen some 3060 and 3070 appearing, but damn, they are expensive. I will try to get a 3000 card this year; after finishing paying my car I will save to replace my GPU this year.

Me but not by choice! I have a 1080ti and am on the lookout for a 3090. I hope to get lucky by the end of this year.

Am rx480 for me which was released around the same time. Still does what I need it to. My PS5 serves we well otherwise.

1000 series? I wish. I'm still on a 970 that, thankfully, I got used a few years ago as a stop gap "until I could afford a 2070" otherwise I'd still be on a 670. Doesn't look like I'll ever be upgrading from that 970 either given the utter joke the GPU market has become. Hell I don't even care about raytracing or a top end card, just give me some old mid-range one like a 2060 Super or a 2070 at a fair price.

Shit ton of people waited on the 2XXX cards figuring the 3XXX cards would actually be a better buy/jump.

Then nobody could find them so you have a fuck ton of people stuck on a 1080/70/60.

This was almost me. Was holding out for the 3000 cards. But at the end of 2019 I gave in and bought a 2070 super when they were still normal prices. Kinda glad I did now. Though now I can't really justify getting a 3000 card, and will probably wait for the 4000 series, and by then I'll need to replace my 7700k.

Sold my friend my old 1060 6gb which he's still using in his PC.

1080 TI still holding strong for 1440p 144hz gaming (most of the time, at the very least 60fps gaming). Only reason I want a 3080 is for DLSS and to hold up for "next gen" for the next few years to come.

My ancient PC is still on a 750Ti, and with current video card prices that won't change any time soon haha. I normally build a stupid over powered PC every 10 or so years, so I've been due.

i7 16 GB RAM and a 1080 GTX. I haven't encountered a game yet that made feel I need to upgrade. Ray-tracing would be nice but not worth the hassle right now, I can wait another generation or two, let the craziness stabilize and then see if I even need one by that time.
I do game at 1080p though so that has undoubtedly helped me extend the life of my 1080 GTX.

1060 for me. New cards are too expensive and too hard to get ahold of to upgrade. I don't game on my PC, though, so it's not too bad, but I would like something new for video editing.

1080ti owner. It's still plenty good enough to run modern games at solid frame rates at either 1440 or 4k depending on the game. Very glad I picked it up like 18 months ago now...

It doesn't have RTX, but I can cope with that.

I'll upgrade at some point.

Until last week I was using a 980ti!

The sheer compute grunt was still great but the thing was taken to pieces increasingly by newer rendering techniques.

Thankfully, thanks to an anonymous benefactor, I was able to secure a ASUS TUF OC RTX3070 from overclockers UK (Using a code that took the price from a list price of £10,000 to £679).

Need to sell the 980ti so soften the blow a bit but the old dog provided some good gaming times!

My 1080 ti is doing wonderfully at 1440p until ray-tracing comes full bore to PC and then I'll be scrambling to find a 3080 ti.

1050 2GB. Was supposed to be a temporary thing to hold me over until I built a better pc. And the pc was built but I held off on a new GPU.
