I completely forgot about penny arcade. I used to post there for a short while but some of their peeps could be extremely hostile. Haven't even read their comic in years at this point. Are they still popular?Just ResetERA.
Used to do Penny-Arcade forums but things are kinda stagnant over there. It's mostly game-specific threads, most of which are for games I'm not interested in.
Might look into Giant Bomb soon if they'll let me recover my password.
The discussions are usually less one sided there and the moderation is less ott.Honest question. If you're a member here is there a real value in going to neogaf? As far as getting information fast and discussing video games this site seems to do it faster and be more active.
As far as forums go, like others said there really isn't anything left for video games. I go to reddit and follow people on Twitter for gaming news and discussion.

Somethingawful forums. The only problem is it's all megathreads. But if some of them are things you're into it, it's honestly the best gaming forum.
This whole thread proves how sus the gaming side userbase is tbh.
How? Quickly checking there was like 4 people who said they go there. How is that a big deal and telling of the userbase here? This whole thread proves how sus the gaming side userbase is tbh.
Seems nice. I ll check it out.Retro Game Boards, and Talking Time.
Both of which are smaller communities, but have great discussions. I'll admit that I lurk on both of those boards way too frequently though. Retro Game Boards was actually an offshoot created during the great migration, but is focused on retro gaming. It's definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed the emulation & retro appreciation threads at the old place.
i also visit sonic/sega retro still, but that's more specialized than those.
