Irys, Calli, ERB, Ina and Kaela are all relatively normal and speak English. For the JP audience I always see families watching Miko together. It's sweet. If I were to choose Hololive talent that would play well toward normies, boomers and the average american family it would probably be a choice between Pekora, Suisei, Gura, Korone, Subaru and now maybe ERB?
Autoquoting me and rewatching the episode... the show even reference actual vTubers for some of the SNS shots, just in this first ep. we have...
Also, they got support from OBS, Live2D and Clip Studio Paint (in the software dept), and even got the perms to show Sausage Legends (in the LN, the game was named Weiner Legends for copyright reasons).

Yeah Matara is pushing pretty heavily that it's not only open to established streamers. So this seems a bit more open this time. And the other members ask people to apply in the title of their streams, they really seem to want someone more or less unknow this time.
And their chemistry/banter is really good.
Gigi sounds like my baby cousin. Took her mom's credit card without permission to spend on Maple Story as a kid and loves Haikyuu.
Of course its soda themed lol.
I'm glad she was finally able to put out a new original after things fell through with the old producer/project.
Heartbreaking and disheartening to see so many people pushing the idea of "Zen friends only" when each person I found had to work their way to the top regardless. I have other friends who don't want to join who are working their asses off and doing amazing things. I even pushed management to open auditions again finally after so long and to scout for new and upcoming people to mesh with. I wanted to meet new people and let the others get a sense for them as well and see who would fit into the puzzle. Then I came to a realization that even if we bring in a new person, people will claim we focused on new people instead of helping others who are halfway to success or other larger creators be apart of something fun. Either way is a loss. I just wanted to do right and help smaller and up and coming as well as the potential to bring someone on the rise. Management and Gunrun are working their butts off to do all of this and now I feel as though I made a mistake in doing this. Who knows. But I hope you all still try. Because I started from the bottom too and I put in the work.

You are damn right
But she said not to expect new outfit for a while...
Agreed! It looks great.
Has it been 3 times? I thought they only did the auditioning thing once before? Like back in 2021?I get that it sucks to be meme'd on but Vshojo unintentionally created the narrative by announcing auditions 3 times and each time brought on those already huge or well known in vtubing (Nazuna, Kson, Henya, Matara, Kuro, Michi) and/or very close friends to either Ironmouse or Zentreya (Geega, Haruka.)
It's weird to me that they're so against the narrative of being the vtuber retirement home though. That should be a point of pride that the company is stable and everyone inside it is doing well.

Someone on tik tok made it extra popular. Its been slang forever but now everyone is using it all the time. Word is hundreds of years old and always used to describe a dog barking nonstop (and for someone talking too much).I've been seeing people using the word "yap", "yapping" a lot recently. What caused this? Is this a new trend word?
It means someone is talking a lot and you think they're annoying and should shut up basically.I've been seeing people using the word "yap", "yapping" a lot recently. What caused this? Is this a new trend word?
