They don't mention Labo in Directs and the Vehicle Kit isn't even out yet. Why would they announce another kit less than a week before the third kit is released?Terrible guesses are usually the ones that turn out being correct with Directs lol
Like Fire Emblem.I think you need to pay attention. Last years Direct was focused on end of 2017. This years Direct doesn't say that. It will have 2019 games.
I love how with all these wish lists, like almost nobody lists English Mother 3 anymore.
Shouldn't Nintendo save the Metroid reveal trailer for the VGAs?
It will absolutely be announced tomorrow, I was just answering your question ("How many actually big titles got announced for Switch at E3?")Which makes the idea of Animal Crossing announced at E3 seem much less likely. Pokémon was literally just "guys we promise it's coming" and Metroid was a logo with some music. Unless you're suggesting Animal Crossing will be revealed the same way with details and a release further than a year or two away then I'm not sure there is any reason to believe Animal Crossing won't be announced in a direct. It may not be tomorrow's but Animal Crossing isn't getting saved as an E3 reveal. Nintendo has the clout to announce their biggest titles without sharing the spotlight with other companies.
would be cool, and the game awards are a few months away, would be cool to hype up something for then.Oh shit... what if:
*Metroid Prime 4 trailer at the end*
"We hope you liked it! Tune in at The Game Awards for the first gameplay demo!"
I'd be surprised if we got 5 of those, I'm just setting myself up for disappointment.I'm going to be really mad if we don't see at least half of these things.
That's about scheduling.https://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-direct-september-2017-recap-all-the-switc/1100-6453326/
Don't set yourself up for disappointment.
I'm going by precedent. The 3rd Labo set (vehicles) is much more game-y than the first two, so perhaps they can incorporate the franchise along with the "regular games" if they see they can benefit from it.
Metroid Prime 4, "pokemon core game" whether that is Let's go or not I dunno, Yoshi, Kirby, Daemon X Machina (dont know if they are going to push it as big or not), Mario Party... I'd say that is a fair amount of big games announced.
Fire emblem, Yoshi and another title.
Huh, The Game Awards tweeted about the direct, this is the first time they have ever done this for a direct.
Shovel Knight is an AT. Shantae will be an AT, if anything. Please put Shantae in Smash please
also when is Daemon X Machina comin out?
i did on my amazing but hugely ignored bingo card that i spent like 10 minutes on.I love how with all these wish lists, like almost nobody lists English Mother 3 anymore.
Why not both ;)? Sakurai tweeted a picture that clearly resemble a fight from Golden Sun in the Coliseum. BUT if they're announcing god damn Isaac AND Skull kid, I think I'm gonna have a meltdownActually, we're getting hints at Skull Kid in the Smash thread.
Last year they specified it'd be focused on 2017 games.https://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-direct-september-2017-recap-all-the-switc/1100-6453326/

Nintendo, I don't feel so good.I love how with all these wish lists, like almost nobody lists English Mother 3 anymore.
Isn't that kinda reaching? Skull Kid already has a point in his favor with his Assist Trophy being MIA.
I'm expecting one surprise 3rd party port, like Doom last year
Do not let me down R*
I'm calling it
Dragon Quest Switch will be revealed along with a DQ character in Smash.
Showcasing some 2019 titles, which they 100% will do, does not need to equate to "megaton announcements".
Last year they specified it'd be focused on 2017 games.
This year they didn't.
How do you know she's an insider? What if she's joking?
Sure. Stuff we already know about.
I don't agree with your "2017 into 2018 sucked" but yeah for real, Nintendo Directs are always surprising and unique. We don't know what to expect, it wont be the same as last september direct. It's not 2017. It's a different time with different games now. 2017 going into 2018 sucked. 2018 going into 2019 should be damn good.
Because those are the two obvious games. They've never retweeted a direct. Something is going to be there that will be at the Game Awards is my guessthat's weird.
Maybe Nintendo is showing a game that The Game awards will feature.
most would jump to Metroid or Bayo
