Ya'll don't want that US healthcare evil. Also, it's creepy reading some of your shit and how similar it is to the garbage we in the US have been going through with Trump. I don't know who is ahead on the shit scale though. Judging by your polls and how conservatives seem to be a clear winner i'd say you're behind. Shit will get bad if it goes wrong.

Trust me, we know :(

Still no idea what to do in Finchley. Can't work out if the Lib Dems actually have a chance of taking the seat - I think this will be a case of the left vote very much being split!

1 hour till I leave my house to go vote.....

Same! And I guess then that's all I can do, then I think I may cry in the corner for 24 hours just so I get it out of the way early.

I have no idea how Bedford will vote, last time it was pretty well spilt three ways between CON LAB and LD with LAB winning by just over 1200 votes. We have pretty well-defined labour, conservative and lib dem (with one house that proudly states it's a Brexit party house, and has a union flag outside.

I'm only just up the road from you and I've got a safe Con majority to live with.

Tactical.vote now doesn't recommend any party, although there of the sites it uses still recommend the Lib Dems. The last poll I saw (possibly from the last YouGov MRP) had both the Lib Dems and Labour very close together behind the Tories.

YouGov MRP

Cons 50
LD 27
LAB 23

Don't expect it to move.

Well I definitely voting labour today, my constituency is tight as fuck.

It's already a labour seat and I'll be damned if the fucking Tory's win it.

I'm just planning what to do if the Tory majority comes in. Probably just bunker down with the wife and kids and have the best Christmas we can. Do my best to stick politics to the back of my mind. It's taken up way too much of my time over the last month. Work has been a disaster. Ive been glued to my phone and my mind elsewhere when playing with my kids. For selfish reasons I'll be glad when this is over

This is pretty depressing. Last election had Labour caught up and the party seemed ready to take the seat.
Judging by The Guardian and the polls, it may be the large Jewish community which in part has caused the huge transfer of Labour votes and will lead to a Con hold. Probably a tactical move by the Tories to hold this exact seat.

Well whoever wins. This country truly deserves who it gets. On the bright side. It's fookin baltic and frosty everywhere. A good deterrent for the olds.

I now understand how preppers feel but I'm on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

To be fair since I wasn't expecting an election and I know how corrupt the BBC has become I've been planning to continue as I have been - in survival mode.

The Lib Dem candidate is an ex-Labour MP. Ultimately this is the exact effect of Labour failing to tackle concerns about anti-Semitism effectively, regardless of the degree to which they are and aren't legitimaye. I'm prepared to vote Labour and even I think that they are at best institutionally dismissive of Jewish concerns and at worst institutionally anti-Semitic.

My area is going to stay a DUP stronghold but going to vote for the idea of eventual change. Their gap has been very slowly decreasing.

Agree with all of this. I wish I hadn't become so invested.

Mostly in agreement. Regardless of Corbyn/Labour's actual position and any action that has or will be taken, the ball was completely dropped and the party will be tarnished by this for a long time to come.

In terms of your constituency which has blatantly lost its opportunity to flip the seat, in your position I would vote with my heart.

They will vote Tory on their dying breath.

I nearly slipped on my way to the polling station, but I survived.

I'm off to the Crystal Maze with work tonight, so maybe I'll get trapped in there and not find out the result. It's a possibility...

Likewise, I'm hoping for at least a few broken hips! No-one else in the station when I was there, but it was within five minutes of opening.

Welp, the day is here. I won't be voting until this evening when my girlfriend is home from work. Until then, I'll just sit and worry about another 5 years of Tory

I'm worried that my wife's postal vote could be rejected, last time they told her a week later her vote wasn't counted because of her signature not precisely matching. Now I'm worried they'll do the same.

Good luck to...well...us today. At least it's my work Xmas do tonight, I'm just not going to pay attention until I wake up tomorrow. I know Labour's chances are slimmer than slim, but I have to hope.

I am depressed as fuck today.
Get out and vote.

Don't let the Tories win.

If the 18-35 age bracket voted at the same rate as the 50-65 one, Boris will not be in Number 10 tomorrow.

Anyone wavering, especially in a marginal, FUCKING VOTE.

Also please, get rid of Raab.

Get rid of IDS.

Get rid of Villiers.

Get rid of Goldsmith.

And for everyone's sake, get rid of Boris.

The good news is that this election should really worry conservative voters, with socialism breathing down their necks. Even if it doesn't happen this time they're a dying breed - literally.

Woo Bedford! Hopefully Labour hold onto their seat. I moved out a few years back and I'm now mid Beds and have no chance unseating Nadine Dorris.

Stay positive. Hung parliament is coming. Will be voting after work around 16.30 then getting the traditional voting day chippy in.

Mine's a damnably safe Tory seat, but, gotta chip away at that lead to ever make it seem viable in later election's. Think I might go and do my civic duty now.
