Yep, Watsuki is still writing and drawing his Kenshin sequel in one of Shueisha's other magazines
Viz thankfully has standards and dropped their translations of it
I hope everything will turn out well for Usazaki, cause Act-Age was the best jump manga of the past 10 years.
Hope Matsuki gets what he deserves though. I'm hopeful since he admitted to the charges and the next volume has been removed from the schedule, so it looks like it won't be another Watsuki situation

Yeah no kidding. Apparently this was her first big job. Her style is fairly striking, and at 22 I'm sure she'll be okay. She's got talent.
Sadly Matsuki only got justice because he was a relative nobody. Watsuki has clout.
After the Kenshin guy got a slap on the wrist for his child porn I have no faith in him getting actual punishment.

Apparently his assaults were caught on camera, and he openly admitted to it.
I'm pretty sure he's going to get it worse than Watsuki did.

She's still 22, and no mangaka experinece, but got hired, after editor seeing her art on twitter, I hope she can get her own serie soon too.

And I guess that explain that strange tweet last month from the live stage thing, so he was the "PERSON" asking for the actress contact and personal information.
I think his punishment will likely be harsher and Shueisha will drop him faster than Toriko or RK artist because as far as I know this manga isn't as lucrative as those and they can easily cut losses.
I definitely think if one of their big name manga-ka did the same thing they'd get less of a punishment because there'd be more at stake financially.

This is Sexually Assaulting Which is pretty big serious in japan not hired prostitution or buy illegal DVD porn.
I don't think Even Bigname Mangaka can get away with it.
She was also starting to act tsundere towards him, and characters in the series were pushing the "love" between an actor/director
I think silentpanda is refering to this notice by Horipro Stage, the studio that is in charge of the live play adaptation of Act Age
Basically the studio is saying they received complaint that someone affiliated with the project was harassing the candidates at an audition for their contact info, and to not give out personnal information and the studio will not disclose the candidates and actress info to anyone.
From what I remember, someone claim to be a official from the group, and is asking SNS and personal information and the company and studio came out with these SNS saying they don't ask for these personal information and none of their worker and stuff will too.
This is dissapointing, since act age is one of the few shonen jump manga that try to be different compared to other manga in the magazine.

The actor from that Judgement game, Pierre Taki, was turned into a social pariah because he did some cocaine (or some similar trifle.) They damn Near scrubbed him from society, if I recall.
On the other hand, these high-profile manga creators continue to get away with much more serious crimes like sexually assaulting or sleeping with minors. All else being equal, this dude shouldn't be allowed to work in that industry ever again.

Yeah she was only 19 when she first partnered with this scum.
Apparently the story goes that he was a failed screenwriter who decided to try switching fields to manga, but his art sucked so he was lamenting that on Twitter when she tried to encourage him to not give up. That led him to look up her Twitter account and her art and he proposed that she could be the artist in their duo.
