I believe the Turtle is the one that adjourns the Senate. He could've just not done that.I think "Congress" gets the wide blame for this, not Republicans, not Democrats, just Congress.

I don't know that actually matters to the general public.
Doubt. Democrats will be vilified to a certain extent but a large part of the poor numbers Trump, and by extension GOP senators, are seeing is because of their poor handling of Covid. This is just another arm of that shitty responseI think "Congress" gets the wide blame for this, not Republicans, not Democrats, just Congress.
People need a solution that's not voting and waiting for democrats to do something at the end of January. The republicans could lose every race in November but that's not providing relief for families right now thru January
they shouldn't be allowed to adjourn until they figure something out. Shouldn't even be getting paid.
Absolutely unacceptable. This is seriously fucked up. They procrastinated this and now it's too late, and they are going on fucking vacation?
They're probably trying to make Trump look like the savior but he clearly can't do shit about this either.
Eat the rich.
Seriously, none of them should be allowed to go home until they do their job and take care of the nation that literally can't afford to wait.
Fuck politicians
Politicians putting re-election above their duties should be a felony
That usually means a major concession from Dems.People need a solution that's not voting and waiting for democrats to do something at the end of January. The republicans could lose every race in November but that's not providing relief for families right now thru January

Nah, it's the Republicans.I think "Congress" gets the wide blame for this, not Republicans, not Democrats, just Congress.
They'll be protesting at the voting booth. That means a bunch of Republican senators losing their seats, but unfortunately also means a bunch of freshman democratic House members are in trouble as well, and they've been pushing Nancy to make at least a smaller deal that takes care of 1200 dollar checks and unemployment benefits.
I don't think that check is the issue. It's all about the UI. The UI running out is what is going to be the major disaster.Imagine just giving someone $1200 and telling them that's enough
And not everyone got it
