Hey all,
I've got a 49" Changhong 1080p set that's a few years old. I'm at the point where I'd like to move up to a 55", mostly for when I'm gaming - I feel like the extra inches will help a lot with making out detail and becoming more immersed in single-player titles.
Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on this
Hisense 55H7Dfrom Rakuten. Between their $50 off coupon code and 10% off w/ eBates, could snag it for just under $300 total today.
I realize it's very much a budget 4K TV, but that's what I'm in the market for. It would either be this or continue waiting for a sale on the TCL S-series, which I know is pretty highly regarded for the price. The P-607 is the ideal, but I don't think I wanna shell out that much for a TV right now.
I should note most of my viewing time is spent streaming TV & movies, though I do watch basketball and football as well. When it comes to gaming, I'm either playing my Switch or hooking up my laptop via HDMI. No PS4 or Xbone. My living room has low lighting, and the viewing angles aren't too crazy.
From what I can tell, it
seems like the Hisense is a pretty decent budget set, especially for $300, though Rtings hasn't reviewed this particular model.
Any advice is appreciated. :)
