Can't really understand if there is a physical release and, if so, if it is esclusive of some store. Can someone enlighten me? Cuase if so, I'll buy it physical when the time comes
Where is it confirmed its SE Store only? I'd give it a couple of days first.Yes Physical, Square Enix online store only. Steelbook for EU preorders.
Massive fan of Final Fantasy Tactics but never gave Tactics Ogre a shot. I think I'll scoop this on PC in anticipation of mods. I know it's a saying people groan at, but does this "scratch the itch" of wanting more FFT in my life?

They do at least have the tarot cards available separately that also comes with the mat and bag from the JP collector edition
Thank Gilgamesh that this isn't an EGS exclusive. My Deck is ready.

Likewise 😭
They could do this with Vagrant Story too.
Updated game design, fully-voiced cutscenes, improved graphics, and sound.
Maybe someday. 😌
Very weak digital "premium" version haha. Not even a digital artbook!
Do people ever buy these? I get games digitally a lot and I love artbooks but they're one of these things that is better physically for the experience. I read most books as ebooks but an artbook or photobook? You better believe I want that printed on nice paper.
We hope you're excited about this upcoming tactical tour-de-force. Tactics Ogre is reborn on November 11, 2022, when it launches physically and digitally for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
I think they would have mentioned it if it was actually store exclusive. Certainly hope it isn't.They released a blog post talking about the game and they confirm the physical edition (if it's store exclusive or not, they don't clear that subject).
In classic Square Enix fashion, PSN, eShop, and XBL (when it applies) pages always get put up within min of announcement along with preorders. Steam page is always days late.
I have the same issue, I know this series from a long time (since FFT days) but there's so many games...I hope it's a good game to jump into as it says in the trailer it's the 7th one and I've never played the others?
It's basically a glow-up of a PSP game so I would be shocked if it didn't run well/fine.
Very seldom they put those steelbooks up as SE points rewards. fingers crossed. (although SE points are a scam since you still pay shipping LOL) I have like 600 unredeemed points
Not sure but people made some cool stuff for FFT, maybe folks hoping it will be the same here.
i hope so too. i got the sweet Zenos figure from Stormblood CE way back for points cuz I have sooo many lol
Oh wow. I knew of the one for FFT, there being one for TO is news to meFFT and TOPSP had full rebalance mods that are well liked. The same is what people are hoping for here.
There's a rebalance mod for it already. I don't think anyone ever bothered to completely revamp the story or introduce new characters like people did with FF Tactics. Not sure but people made some cool stuff for FFT, maybe folks hoping it will be the same here.

Hell yeah.
Now please remaster Ogre Battle
Also please let Matsuno make the entire saga lol
Positioning, Rune drops, and powered squares (Friendly melee unit successfully attacks mob, leaves buff on opposing side) are my main areas of interest. Story was good, but the gameplay mechanics seared the game into my memory. It's been 15 years since I played Jeanne d'Arc so my memory is super hazy, but TO and FFT were very clearly the inspiration for that game.
