There were insiders on this site hinting at Ridley in smash in the lead-up to E3.
Which now that we have confirmed 3rd party series that are for non stage/character roles like Rathalos (story boss and assist trophy) makes his minecraft comment a lot more likely.

i actually wonder how that stage would look with the new rendering system, i wasnt too huge on how it looked in smash 4 but i felt the same for a lot of stages which all now look beautiful
