Is this sword in the game ? If so what is it ? When I play a knight I always play with the default sword (the large sword)I'll take my boring illfitting to Smash fantasy character thank you very much.

You're not wrong - without context put him next to Ryu and they're both just the dude-in-a-gi types. I think Sakurai could have fun implementing Tekken mechanics in Smash, but they're both just punchy-kicky guys at the end of the day.

It's the Astora Straight Sword. It's great but you can't get it until the Valley of Drakes so unless you take the Master Key you generally get it too late to use

I kinda hope we get a Darkhorse reveal like The Heavy from TF2 with the annoucement of the Orange Box for Switch as well as other Valve annoucments
It's weirder in Bloodborne where all the katanas are used by aristocratic British vampires.

Team Ninja throws almost all the dudes on the backburner. Hayabusa is an exception, and he's not exclusively a DOA character.
