Well that blows

I mean... no, not 6... but back when I first went ad-free... it was often at least 3 ads per break. also this takes into account the increased ad breaks in shows.. up to 5 now for hour long shows, and 3 for 30 minute shows, where it was 3 for hour long shows and 2 for half hour shows (not including intro and outtro in either the before or after, which is another break each)Cool. I'll never understand the folks who act like ads are the worst thing ever. Wow, a few extra minutes of crap added to your shows! Pick up your phone or go make a sandwich.
I could see if they were like normal ads that used to air on TV. You aren't being hit with like 6 of them during each break š
Premium Family plans aren't eligible. Thanks for nothing Spotify
But it also says in the link:And existing.
It's right in the OP.
"Spotify Premium now includes a free subscription to Hulu's ad-supported plan. This perk goes into effect today, and it is available to new and existing users of Spotify's Premium streaming service in the US."
Here's how to activate this plan if you're eligible: Purchase Spotify Premium and follow the steps we provide.
no
I just logged into Spotify and got this:But it also says in the link:
And when you click what if I already have Hulu, it sends you to here:
How do you trigger those steps if you've already got Premium?

Correct, but they have some shows the day after they air on TV.But as someone that has never used Hulu, is it just another Netflix-type app, and not a streaming TV service like YouTube TV, Direct TV Now, or Playstation Vue?
no
limits seem to be
ad-supported Hulu only
US-only
non-Family Spotify only
don't get me wrong. awesome perk for those who find themselves getting Hulu for free all of the sudden. But man... no way I would go back to commercials.. f'that..
What If I'm still using that premium for students thing from a few months ago?
NoIf I already subscribe to Spotify (family) and Hulu premium, can I get an advantage out of this?
Well that makes this pretty much useless then
yeah, I've been using my wife's so that we get both because mine expired in January. I might just do this for myself.I definitely don't feel bad about losing my student discount now
Its just a lackluster experience thats all. No different than using Spotify BasicI don't really get the complaints....You don't have to use it. But if I want to watch a random episode of 30 Rock it's only on Hulu now, but I can't justify paying for it for that.
