i believe sony would invite game journalist to it (like last time), if it was the ps5, since no journalist got any invitation that we know about, i think its safe to assume its not ps5 related
Exactly. If 2020 isn't the future yet I don't know when its coming. We were supposed to have flying cars back in 2015.
Jesus returning confirmed.
carpe futurae
It could happened imo, no one expect the first PS5 info to come out from Wired too. Maybe new direction for PS5 is to break out of games circle and tap into more tech circle instead. So Wired and CES is a good place for reveal
You forgot "Alexa-enabled"Sony Fridge that plays PS1 games. If you complete the level you can have some ice.
What about Xbox One's "Beta tested in the future" slogan?
Doesn't matter where it's announced, trying to take a gaming brand and turning it into an all in one entertainment brand like Microsoft did in 2013 is a stupid idea and will only backfire.
Like, who knows at this point. Sony is fuckin weird with their PS5 info drips. There was no warning for those 2 articles. If it's PlayStation related, social media should post something about it this week.
💦
I'd sacrifice PS5 for a third Sony handheld in a heartbeat. I miss the glory days of Vita.
You think they will wait till E3 for a reveal? I dunno man
Isn't this what Microsoft tried to do with the Xbox One in 2013?seriously, tho. Sony could be repositioning Playstation as a consumer electronics brand instead of a only a "gaming console" etc.
sneak backstageEither way, I'll be there at CES all week. So I'm stoked to see if it is PlayStation related at all.
They'll most likely have a PlayStation Meeting prior to that. That's where they've revealed all their previous hardware reveals(PS4 Pro, PS4, Vita)

Indeed. Sony has decent first parties but I'm not going to lie, their Operating system is a mess! The user interface is fine but there's so much other minor annoyances that don't really give me the confidence that they can build an all-in-one device.Sony tried it with the PS3 back in 2006 :V
Always a Red Flag to me when 1st Parties try to reposition their next console as an "All In One Entertainment Center". It went badly for the PS3, bad for the WiiU, and bad for the Xbone.

playstation series 5
Really? You don't see how another major company in the exact same sector previously trying to do the thing your suggesting and failing (spectacularly) is relevant?
