does it matter if they still build games for them when they ask? lolWell, there goes another company that developed exclusively for the PlayStation.

Can't say I'd miss Quantic Dream, personally not a fan of those kind of games. I was never a fan of the idea of Sony acquiring the studio either.
I have enjoyed their games, Detroit in particular is fantastic, but overall yeah, losing them wouldn't hurt Sony at all.
They would just fund another big project instead.
Agreed, I've been loving their games and I think Detroit's their best yet, and Beyond: Two Souls I think would have been better received if it had been more chronological. I'd love it if they'd make another game with Sony for PS5.Detroit is one of the best games of this generation IMO, couldn't care less about Until Dawn. Hopefully QD continues to make games like that in the future...

The story's flaws couldn't overshadow how awesome the whole package was IMOUgh, how can all of you be ok with that plot hole story? There also some bullshit decisions, without logic scenes, forced situations and so more... its their best game gameplay wise, but heavy rain had better story and characters... detroit is a fine game, but one of the best of the generation? Cmon now...
Ps: i was writing up everytime i noticed some plot/story/characters/world logical hole... i gave up in the middle of the game.. as someone who review movies, this is something I am able to notice and not forgive... its just lazy screenwriting with little effort to be really, really great and not using cheap shortcuts (i think previous two games dont have so big problem with this).
I love quantic dream and pretty much liked all of their games. But i dont see a point in ignoring all of detroit's flaws (there are plenty imho).
I enjoyed Detroit quite a bit and Quantic Dream's games add some nice diversity to Sony's line-up but I'd be lying if I said I'd miss them working exclusively on PlayStation.
Personally I think they'd be more suited to working on 2-3 medium sized and diverse projects at a time (sort of like DONTNOD) rather than one legit AAA game in a relatively niche genre.
Tree, defend your kind.I like Quantic Dream a lot; I hope Sony keep a close affiliation with them. Their games are a nice breath of fresh air, particularly in the AAA space where publishers are growing increasingly more obsessed with open worlds and skill trees and vast fields populated with trees. Man... fuck trees.
Yes please. I hope the next ND game is going sci-fi... or horrorSony should make a Cyberpunk like game heavily inspired by Blade Runner 2049.
Me either but this is a Sony that recognizes PS as a pillar of the company, where expectations of WWS are higher, and where they absolutely want to continue PS4 momentum. I also think PD has a tighter leash on them to delivery a critical hit with the next iterationI've never known Sony to have a tremendous amount of first party games at launch. Even the heralded PS2 had one (Fantavision), not including the bad sports games they made that year.
I also doubt Dreams will be a PS5 launch game instead of a 2019 game, and I wouldn't expect that quick a turnaround for Gran Turismo.
I'd explode with excitement if ND is working on a sci-fi game in that style. As much as I enjoyed Uncharted and TLoU, it was really down to the game design and writing, rather than the setting.Sony should make a Cyberpunk like game heavily inspired by Blade Runner 2049.
It would be great to see Sony work again with FireSprite. WipEout could be a killer app for the next generation of PSVR.

TGA probably
You mean this?Oh man, that would be great to see from them. I'd imagine it being a bit more linear or at least smaller in scope compared to Cyberpunk 2077 so that they can focus on their strengths as developers.
Wasn't there a GIF floating around years back which was associated with a possible sci-fi game Sony had planned or am I getting mixed up?
Awesome. Hope it gets a 2019 release date and some crazy gameplay footage
I'm expecting: blowout material.Awesome. Hope it gets a 2019 release date and some crazy gameplay footage
I just read on twitter that sony has dropped the ball this generation. I just dont understand
Dreams are made of posts like theseI'm expecting: blowout material.
A story trailer that is a lot more representative of combat, including boss fight snippets, gunplay, stealth, delivery and the underwater world of the "dead" mechanics. Crazy stuff that will drop jaws to the floor. Also one that is a lot more pieced together than the others, but still leaves the sci-fi and otherworldly intrigue firmly in place. More dialogue, more context, more characters including more on Mads' character. If they can find a way to combine a seamless trailer + gameplay presentation like Horizon did in 2015, that would be awesome.
I also expect it to be the longest trailer they show, yet. Definitely expecting them to announce it for 2019.
I understand it's only if people don't like games made by Sony but really come on all the exclusive games they this gen.

Dream is all we can do with Death Stranding right now, but I hope none of that is unreasonable.
Kojima should just say fuck it and drop a 22 minute trailer. He knows everyone would let him get away with it.Dream is all we can do with Death Stranding right now, but I hope none of that is unreasonable.
I think it will be around the 9 minute mark based on the length of previous trailers:
- E3 2016 - 3:32
- TGA 2016 - 5:04
- TGA 2017 - 8:11
- E3 2018 - 8:23
I'm expecting: blowout material.

Yup, same here.
They make good games, are a creative studio but if I have to choose, there are a lot of studios more interesting for Sony WW
I played it like 2 years ago? Yeah, seems about right and yeah.. it had better story AND writing regarding plot holes ant stupid logical scenes..I'd urge anyone who thinks Heavy Rain had better writing or characters than Detroit to go back and play Heavy Rain.
