Contact amazon. If it was new then it could of been a manufactured issue where the cart wasn't placed in the case on the assembly line or whatever.
I got a sealed envelope with nothing in it from them once, lol. It was supposed to contain Bravely Second.
Just contact support, which is usually really good on this sort of thing. In my case they immediately sent a replacement at no cost.
This stuff worries me due to the the unopened games I've got laying around, some for quite a while.
So I contacted them Tuesday night, they said 3 business days. Do you think of waited long enough?
good news! amazon has fantastic customer support. enjoy the game :)I talked to them again on chat this morning. They already sent me a new one, and I don't have to ship back the empty case.
Good guy Amazon.
Wow. What a dick move...I had a coworker who did this for 360 games constantly. He'd slightly heat the top layer of plastic and carefully peel it back, slide the case out, carefully peel off the security sticker on the side, take the disc out and replace it with a blank CD-R and reseal the entire thing. He'd just use a glue stick on the plastic wrap. Then he'd return it to Wal-Mart and get his cash back. He had a cd binder fuuuull of 360 games he never paid for.
It actually wasn't difficult and I even employed his tactics once to return a copy of Kane and Lynch 2 after I beat it coop with another friend. I imagine this type of thing is really difficult now with Wal-Mart changing a lot of their return policies.
I couldn't personally do it, but I'm sure Wal-Mart made it out OK.
How much was it?Mario Kart 8 deluxe came in the mail today. The case was wrapped in plastic as normal.
I opened it up and no game cart. Has this happened to anyone else here?
