They said updates would be less often when the SNES Online service launched. This isn't surprising.
When they launched ? Monthly game. AFAIK. Ok this word scam was a bit strong. But if tomorrow Microsoft or sony drop free games it would be an uproar. Games must be ready. Nintendo just don't care. Not that I play them so much anyway. Just saying
Because when they launched the nes app it was only 2/3 games ? Same situationthey gave us 5 months worth of SNES games in one shot WHATTA RIPOFF
Lmao yeah I definitely came in here expecting news.

Poor wording. Still not fair from Nintendo. But kinda expected from them.i mean i totally miss the monthly releases--- would we have preferred they just continued with the 2/3 a month?
I kinda liked that people focused on the monthly releases myself, as it was more of an event---- however i hardly think that nintendo's scammed us
You'd think Nintendo would have something lined up for Christmas at least.
I've been dying to play DKC2 again, especially since the SNES classic came out. I really hope it's a matter of when and not if...I wish the DKC games would come to it, and Earthbound.

Same :(I've been dying to play DKC2 again, especially since the SNES classic came out. I really hope it's a matter of when and not if...
This is honestly all I'm waiting for is to replay dkc2. Please nintendo. Give it to me now!I've been dying to play DKC2 again, especially since the SNES classic came out. I really hope it's a matter of when and not if...
i bet nintendo gave us a bunch of SNES games because they don't have any licenses sorted out yet for further games using this service
It wouldn't surprise me if there are some weird rights issues holding up the DKCs and Mario RPG since those feel like the most obvious missing games that would be in a SNES collection that aren't (like Castlevania IV, Megaman X, Secret of Mana) in a compilation sold separately, and they were both done with companies now very external to Nintendo.
though it is kind of weird the nes game set doesnt have urban champion even now
have those konami collections sold well? i mean if they have, that probably causes rights holders to think twice about licensing their stuff for SNES online.
I hate to be that guy, but MMX and MMX2 are almost guaranteed to never be on it because of the MMX Legacy Collection. Same goes for any of the original MM games and the NES on NSO. The rest seem possible though.DKC
DKC2
DKC3
EarthBound
MMX2
MMX3
FFII
FF3
Mario RPG
BoFII
Chrono Trigger
This is my wishlist for the future

Rockman & Forte as a surprise addition, like puyo puyo tsu.I hate to be that guy, but MMX and MMX2 are almost guaranteed to never be on it because of the MMX Legacy Collection. Same goes for any of the original MM games and the NES on NSO. The rest seem possible though.
I want Mario Paint.
Man I put hours and hours into that as a kid.
Would you be able to use a BT or USB mouse maybe?
In any case. I want more SNES games!
Out of that you'll probably get;DKC

Pretty pathetic. So we haven't seen any updates on SNES or NES titles since September, have we?
Nope, they said they were gonna wait longer now which will probably be for the best since the vast majority whined about the 2 per month previously. So we haven't seen any updates on SNES or NES titles since September, have we?
Next proper Direct will probably be in January, with a major Nintendo announcement or two during The Game Awards in December to hold us over for a bit. At least that's how things have panned out for the past couple years. We're probably about due for another Direct, right? Maybe another big drop there
This. When on earth are they gonna bring those damn things back?Every time I see this thread bumped I get excited and check the SNES Controllers site to see if they've come back in stock. I check that thing once a day as it is, still can't believe I let myself miss that window.
The holidays would be a great time to drop some games. Sell some subscriptions. We're probably about due for another Direct, right? Maybe another big drop there
A neat idea. But dangerous.I think there will be an update once all NSO subscribers roll credits on at least 50% of the currently available games.
