DOOM sold well and had great critical reception.
If Brink 2 gets announced, I'm fucking done with video games.
Like is Bethesda that starved for IP that they looked at Rage, shook their heads and went "yeah, lets give that a sequel"?
Nothing inherently wrong with not having a popular opinion. That being said, we should wait until we actually see the game to know what it is about.Based on the rest of this thread, you seem to have an unpopular opinion there.
Bethesda's own Twitter is getting in on the cutesy marketing fun.
Why? Rage has a very interesting universe, if they manage to do a sequel/reboot in the same way they did with DOOM's, it can be a great game.
I mean...they both seem so obviously silly and sarcastic. I think this does the opposite of confirming the game's existence but I guess we'll see.
Doesn't mean it won't be released for early next year making it effectively a 3-year development cycle. I wouldn't be surprised if they throw in something for early next year just because they want more than 2 games being shown off, or something similar.I woulda thought they were working on DOOM 2 instead. I never played RAGE, but 2 and half years is kinda short, nowadays, for development time. Hopefully it's great!

Probably because it ends right when it gets good?I was disappointed by rage but for some reason I really want this to be real.
