You have to get actually hit by the Stellar Pack, dead center right in the face you're dead and need to pop a rez dead dead.

There was a limited time trigger a year+ ago where the final encounter was a Stellar Pack drop, so you knew where it was going to hit and had time to set up for it. Outside of that, it's 100% luck.

Just when I'm hearing people say they're burnt out on the limited quest another comes to takes its place! Hopefully the next one won't have pits cause I fell into it way to many times!

Since I never figured it out whats the target turning purple mean/do? I know red is from blight rounds but the purple part I just don't get. I finally finished up Retem relentless training an no I'm so not doing a second loop of it!! Its a big step closer to wrapping up Retem after 3~ months. When does PSO2 Ep.3 start taking off? I started it alil over a month ago an have been doing a story mission a day but its waaay to focused on Harukotan and a few characters. Alot of post-Ep.2 cleanup needed thats not being addressed like I thought it would.

Yay for the new limited quest having less pits though I still manage to fall off the edge!! And yay for being able to catch the concerts I missed in december such as the Miku & Luka one! And UQs I've never seen before! Would be nice if they stuck around in the rotation instead of the handful we usually get.

Some big changes coming to Daily and Weekly Tasks with the update on 4/4. Some weeklies are going away, others are getting streamlined, some are getting longer, some dailies are changing to region-wide instead of sector, rewards getting changed up.

And in June, the weekly rankings rewards in OG PSO2 are changing up to Augment Transfer Tickets instead of Star Gems.

as someone that logs in every monday because oh no i forgot to do my weekiles and i only need to play once to get most of my money Sega saw the data and said fuck you personally you get to play every day now

i mean doing everything will net you 1.7mil+ along with doing farming for apha's etc everyday so that isn't that..bad as a f2p but that's if you log in everyday and do everything

Those changes all stink. I would usually get 10 sg a week from the rare boxes in PSO2 an now they gonna take the fun away of finding 'em. Speaking of fun, ya also would get a FUN points ticket in addition to the sg an thats not mentioned at all so idk if they're axing that part or what. An as someone who does log in an do the daily stuff everyday the NGS changes also bite. It was hype to play PSO2 & NGS on wednesdays an make lotsa extra mesata more than other days an this takes the fun outta that.

Major LOL at that NGS UQ/Concert schedule! Its the same concert & UQ copy/pasted a zillion times. A real funny contrast to last weeks PSO2 UQ/Concert schedule.

I did start the game after August 2nd so I'd love to get some of that beginner's campaign stuff though I feel like I've gotten some of it before? An I'm well past those early parts of the story so idk if I'd have to replay 'em or what.

If it's like the previous time they did this, yes, you have to actually play through the content to get the rewards. And most of the stuff is costume accessories they've given out a couple times before.

Just now realizing they said you can have up to 100 players in the creative space zones. And up to 12 players can edit these zones simultaneously.

That sounds like absolute chaos.

I give it 1 hour after launch before someone breaks this new feature. They really should do a playtest server for this.

Played a bit more, now i'm supposed to put a skill point to learn something. I don't wanna mess up my character in the long run so I'll need to look up a Hunter guide. Any suggestion. My Google Fu fails me simply because i'm not sure how much a PSO2 guide would work in PSO2 NGS. Unless it's completely different.

Well they're two different games with two different sets of skill points and trees. 😋

If you're talking about a hunter skill tree I'd suggest joining the arks fleet discord. They have channels with tons of pins that have all the information you need. Skill trees are pretty basic in NGS. You can get pretty much everything:

Slayer trailer showed up in my YouTube recommended, looks very cool. I haven't played in a very long time.. is it a good time to revisit?

I'm curious what new features or battle content they may have added. Last time I played was when the desert region dropped. Was fun, but my friend group fell out because it was "more of the same". Wondering if they added any endgame that switches it up

There's been lots of little QoL improvements tho plus more on the way in the first week of April.

Thanks for the reply! I think I'm interested enough to give it another shot again, at the very least to get ready for Slayer. At least I'll be able to store up currencies or whatever from the promotions they'll be running.

Been attempting ta hunt down silver/gold Tames in Retem an it sure does stink. Been in this region for 3 1/2 months an as of right now I'm still missing 7 of 'em. By the time I'd left Aelio I had found all them rare critters without having to set out an specifically look for em z_z Should I be taking my level 3 boss augments an making the combo augments outta 'em? It was only the other day I noticed that was a thing.

Does the super maintenance begin tonight? Meaning only 3 hours to do tuesdays daily orders/tasks huh x.x

Yea I even tho I play this game all the time (it is my go-to chill/vibe game because it is low stress and actually nothing else plays like it) I always want to be realistic with people and what to expect. So if you're trying it, you may have fun and that's great. But I don't want to set an unrealistic expectation like *everything* all of a sudden changed since you last played it.

I like the game, but I know what to expect out of it.
