Valve Time, as always.
Doesnt matter at all, but I think most play Leon first like I did. Although canon-wise its Claire, Leon 2nd Run then HUNK (4th Survivor).I am about to play Resident Evil 2 Remake. Who do I play as first/second? Does it matter?

I finished Hypnospace Outlaw the other night. Man... The fact that I have not heard more people talk about this game is a travesty. I didn't even grow up with that style of internet, but it was so lovingly crafted and I had enough knowledge of it to see how true it was. I absolutely loved it.
Edit:
I can't decide on which game I want to start next: Eastshade, Heaven's Gate, or Pathologic 2 (for those Halloween vibes). Something to tide me over until Disco Elysium comes out later next month. Any suggestions?
Eastshade seems like a light chill game so it gets my vote.I finished Hypnospace Outlaw the other night. Man... The fact that I have not heard more people talk about this game is a travesty. Whoever is fine. However, pay attention to the menus and once you're done with a character (say, Leon A) be careful to continue with the B scenario of the opposite character (so Claire B).I am about to play Resident Evil 2 Remake. Who do I play as first/second? Does it matter?

A friend of mine did Leon A and Claire A and didn't understand what I was talking about.

You're welcome dude. Thanks for MGSV TheAndyMan. I started it in the past on Xbox but I'm looking forward to going through it on PC this time.
A bit of a weird request but is there a way to filter gog.com to only show "old games"?
Nothing against GoG but generally speaking, if a game is available on Steam I will pick it up there first but they offer a ton of old games that are not available anywhere else and I'm happy to buy them there.... I just kinda don't care to navigate that site having to manually ignore all those latest indie games on there.
I'd love to be able to just see what old games are currently on sale at any given time.
Ah bummerThey used to let you filter by years but they unfortunately got rid of it.
Your best bet might be looking for old devs who are no longer releasing games and filter things that way.
so i finally got around to playing cuphead
beat the first couple stages/bosses
running into a weird thing where if im holding shoot i cant always get the higher (the hold the a down) jump and just always get a tap a shorter jump
its awful
i wonder if its my controller
googling it just brings up thousands of pages about people who cant parry correctly
it works about half the time so it's really easy to tell
High jump is not thaaaat higher. Maybe try switching your keybindings to test.
4K downsampling with DSR, nothing more
That is cool then!
I don't think its necessarily 2x the size but yes, you do need a hefty percentage of the game's size available on top of the preloaded files. So, Destiny 2 download size is almost 80gb in size. Do I need another 80gb of free space when it unpacks later?
I'm concerned about the Steam's unpacking mechanism. I remember reading that you'll need 2x times of the download size because while unpacking, you will need space for both downloaded and installed files. Steam will then delete the downloaded files after it's finished unpacking. Is that true?

Cool, thanks!Valve fixed that in mid-2015. These days, Steam splits pre-load data into 1GB chunks that are deleted on-the-fly during the decryption process. You'll still need some headroom to account for compression, but you no longer need to ensure you've enough space for both the pre-load and the installation.
It looks and sounds amazing! I never play Microsoft Flight Simulator before nor own flight gear, so I'm really happy that the game's gonna be casual friendly.
Guess I'll keep using the beta a little more.Steam Beta Clients are promoted to Stable release when Valve decides that they are ready. So it could be 2 weeks or month or whatever :D
