Nice. Could you link the thread? Its prob already told in here. But they are currently working on motion controlls. The have a resdit thread where userq could ask their questions. So this is official.
One thing I find that helps with the stick controls in handheld mode is turning the x axis and y axis sensitivity down, making the deadlines kinda small and reduce the stick acceleration. It helped my Cassie play overall.
Game is fun so far, only played with like 3 different champions but the grind is ahead of me.
How do deadlines work?
Also aren't you really slow at turning around with these settings?
Yeah, in the case of Paladins I wouldn't have much interest in the F2P version. I bought the founder's pack and have really enjoyed the game. There are lot of interesting characters here, and I wouldn't want to be limited in who I can choose. They all feel unique, and it helps with team synergy if you have everyone at your disposal.Seems to be a bit too Free to Play if that makes any sense. The characters being locked and the whole gem system makes it feel like a mobile game. Fortnite is free yet I've never felt like I was missing out on anything other than some skins.
Yeah I've actually thought about this, but realized you can't purchase the founders pack version from the eShop without uninstalling the F2P version. My hope with the free version is that people see that the game runs and plays well (although it would really benefit from gyro), so maybe more players will grab the full roster. I'd like to see this be successful on the Switch.
I'm not sure how it works now, but before the game was F2P on Switch buying the founder's pack gave you an eshop code for the full thing.Yeah I've actually thought about this, but realized you can't purchase the founders pack version from the eShop without uninstalling the F2P version. The answers are in this very page.Is there a way to learn the game without playing with people. The game is really fun. Will they implement gyro?

AFAIK it's all online. You need a connection to their server to even login and see a menu.Is there any type of local wireless multiplayer in this or is it all online?

You play against bots until level 5. After that you can choose to play with bots for practice.
Yes, they're working on motion controls.
You will only play against bots until you hit level 5. After that you can continue to play against bots in every mode in the Training section. So yeah!
Gyro controls are coming I think.
How is the framerate on the Switch? I wouldn't mind giving it a go but I don't want to waste time downloading if it's not stable.
Been in for a month and it seems stable for the most part. Resolution can and does drop.
Tried it.
The maps are soo unremarkable. In all the games I've played, the action pretty much occurred on a point in each map. It wasn't dynamic or anything. I don't know how this compares to Overwatch, but I thought it was rather dull, if not too easy.

Sorry for the stupid question but will the Switch port come with some sort of hipatch process which will be hanging around in your Switch's RAM memory even after you uninstall the game? I'm asking because this is what we got in PC and you just can't fully uninstall hipatch.
There you go. An actual clear genre. Wtf is a "hero" shooter? Awful name. And I never heard anyone call TF2 a fucking Hero shooter. It's a team/class based FPS. I swear all these little genre pet names are annoying as hell.
Some of the genre names people come up with are hot garbage. "J"RPG, MOBA (wtf does this even stand for, I can't even remember cuz I hate the term so much), Shmup, Roguelike, Hero Shooter. They sound stupid, and they are stupid.
Newsflash: all these little pet names SUCK.
What do you mean?I thought you could unlock champions in Paladins, but there seems to be no options for each champion?
Can't find the option? What do you mean?
You can unlock each champion with gold or crystals
yea sometimes it's buggy. Can't find the option?
Also the Join Queue button seemed to not work, then I restarted the game and it said "diserter (xx:xx)" lol. Now it actually works.
ahhh I see. I guess I was looking in the wrong champs who are unlocked alreadyyea sometimes it's buggy.
In the menu "champion" you can select a champion and it will show how much he/she costs at the bottom right corner. You can purchase by pressing "x"

I have come to deeply hate JRPG because it commits the one sin that invalidates a term: nobody can fucking agree what it describes. Some will die on the hill that it means any RPG from Japan (which is beyond useless as a genre descriptor). Some will swear on their dying breath that they're a specific subgenre of turn-based, character-centric, story-heavy RPGs. Ink and blood has been spilled by the gallon on that battle.
MOBA and roguelike, on the other hand, are terms that are clearly defined and widely agreed on. Pissing on them is complaining for the sake of complaining.
This game feels great but at times looks like its smeared in vaseline.
they're currently working on motion controls. But couldn't give a time frame thoughI'm trying to unlock barik for a while, but pressing "x" did nothing. Closed and started the game again and it worked.
The game btw it's quite fun, but the loading times are a bit annoying.
I hope they will implement gyro aiming soon.
Don't really see how, idk how much a hero costs to unlock, but it's a pretty normal model for these games. Similarly, the price to unlock every hero forever is only like 30 bucks, so I fail to see how it's like a mobile game.Seems to be a bit too Free to Play if that makes any sense. The characters being locked and the whole gem system makes it feel like a mobile game. Fortnite is free yet I've never felt like I was missing out on anything other than some skins.
While I can understand some of the complaints, I'm having a great time with this game.
It's smooth and plays like a dream. I've been using handheld mode exclusively and I've never been bothered by any of the resolution drops.
I'm a bit frustrated with the F2P nature of it, and am considering paying to unlock, but even without it, it's pretty good.
I think the fact that I've never played Overwatch is probably part of the reason I don't have too many complaints though.
You are not missing much.
I mean OW is definitely more polished game, which is not strange because of the huge budget. But imo. Paladins is better and more interesting game if we are talking about the gameplay.
