Yeah, I've noticed there's a distinct lack of promotion on PS4 here in the UK.

Yeah, disappointing BF all round in the UK really, unless you're in the market for Switch or 1X. I guess its also okay for the 1S, FH4 is a brilliant game.

I went through my emails to check what I got the 1TB COD PS4 Slim bundle for in 2016 and it was £229. Literally only £10 than the 500GB this year, or £40 less than the 1TB deals this year.

£40 worse deal two years later, that's bad no matter what way you look at it. I'll be shocked if PS4 has a good BF here.

Also just to point out that the PS4 slim in your post is 500GB, while the XB1S is a 1TB. XB1 deal is absolutely miles better this year.

I think the PSVR offers have been good in the UK, as well as some of the PS4 game deals. Sony might go harder on console offers around Christmas, as Black Friday is in a bit of a weird spot in the UK at the moment. It strikes me that companies want to use the marketing term here but they don't really want to cut the prices much.

Switch has been on offer for over a week. Last week as noted by Just Dance's increase you could get a Switch with Just Dance and Pokémon for £300 and then the Switch alone has been £250, with various Ubisoft game bundles for slightly more.

Great Xbox One S Deals and Switch deals are so-so given Nintendo doesn't really bother with price cuts on these sale days. But Sony? I AM DISAPPOINT. The US got a great 1TB Spider-Man bundle and we are paying at least £219.

BREXIT!!

While some of the Xbox deals are very good, Xbox is practically always on offer, where as the PS4 isn't so much. I'm not even sure what the OneS RRP is anymore because it must be almost impossible to ever buy it at that. I think a couple of years ago Xbox also trounced PS4 in the way of deals but guess which still sold better. PS4 is being marketed rather heavily on TV at the mo and with the likes of Spider-Man, GoW, Detroit and BO all in the BF deals, I wouldn't bet against PS4 still coming out on top.

But yeah the PS4 deals do seem poor vs previous years.

Those Xbox One bundles were absolutely flying out at Tesco today. Some PS4 and Switch but the vast majority were these bundles. I can now imagine how crazy those US Spidey PS4s must have been like. Be interesting to see come Monday the bump and hopefully we'll get some PR on hardware for a change.

Wow. Looks like retailers didn't see the bomb coming from afar.

I don't understand how they didn't see it coming. While pre-orders can't be taken as the end all be all for how a game performs, it's at least one indicator of public interest. Then you just have the general reaction to the leak, the reveal at E3 and then the beta. There was really no positive momentum behind this game leading up to release. It was really the complete opposite of any other Bethesda RPG where it seems like the entire industry and public spotlight shines solely on Fallout during that period.

Wow. Looks like retailers didn't see the bomb coming from afar.

Retail buyers base their quantities off the publishers forecasts, work out what that will be with their avg market share and plus or minus a bit based on own feelings. If the publisher is telling you it estimates 330,000, you're probably not thinking, "nah, it'll be more like 80".

Pokémon sales:
That RDR2 drop is shocking.

And that's really low for Hitman 2.

Strong results for Pokemon and kinda surprisingly weak for Spyro.
Not very surprising IMO. Spyro was not that big in France.

France Era why you no love Eevee more?
Eevee is not very popular here. Pikachu the only one mascot

That RDR2 drop is shocking.

And that's really low for Hitman 2.
Why shocking ?
The game sold very well for some weeks now.
And RedDead is not GTA. I don't see it making same numbers when its all said and done.
