God Bandicoot legs never cease to amaze me.
Pac man is in town!

Yeah, the green clashes with all that blue. :P
???
I think it's always interesting to compare things to previous years. There's no story here. Your post isn't needed either, but you posted it all the same.
Perhaps you should take a trip to the angry gamer thread :p
Dunno, I'm just providing context. Not even Zhuge et all have access to concrete eShop data so it's fruitless IMO to assume anything to that effect.
what are you trying to achieve with this? the poster just gave us potentially useful, if not at the very least interesting information. not every single post in this thread has to be a mind blowing analysis - hell, most posts tend to just be personal commentary on how things look. them posting that isn't bad in any way, idgiLOL, no , comparison posts need to be relevant . You pointed out ZERO comparison talking points. Congrats !
Wait till there is a new Train, Truck or Landwirtschaftssimulator coming out in germany... these things have a hardcore PC crowd following. It is rare to see a retail PC game enters any top 10/50/100 in this day but Football manager is one of the rares
Quite surprised at the debut for Lego Harry Potter. Thought it would be a lot lower considering it's both a late port and a very quiet release. I can imagine a lot of that is due to it being a fairly cheap Switch Lego game.
If we can't come to any conclusion about eShop sales what context does it's placing provide in relation to it's sales in this chart?
my sources.
i wouldn't be surprised if pokemon goes 3rd and 4th first week. i think its going to underperform worldwide, but if a game like this does relatively bad anywhere its gonna be the UK lol
edit:

With these sales. They will never patch resolution on PS4 pro :(
Well we are all at least capable of understanding that being at no1 is far better than being at no 20-30 or something, hence why I posted where Diablo 3 charted. And it's not a forgone conclusion that new games place incredibly high either, I've not looked today but Lego Harry Potter for example did not chart high over the weekend, definitely not top 5 even IIRC.
So yeah as to what the numbers exactly are, what the attach rate is, how many units sold is necessary to be no1 in such-and-such a week is a crapshoot but there's still relevance for the placement I think even without exact detail on the above.

You don't have to be this aggressive. You can make your point without being rude.Ok, I will post charts from October 1987 with zero reason why?
People need to make points , about why there posting sales data. Make the discussion go further .

Okay, you do that then.
The obvious point is to see what tge chart comparatively looked like last year. But really, why don't you contribute something instead of just being snide and annoying?
Just leave it , posters post added nothing to this week's sales data , different games out that weren't out last year .
I'm interested to see the percentage splits on the big 3rd party games. Microsoft have been pushing these unofficial bundles to the max in the uk, is it having any effect?
i m sure it will have an effect for sure but not to the degree of the official bundle and constant advertising everywhere.I'm interested to see the percentage splits on the big 3rd party games. Microsoft have been pushing these unofficial bundles to the max in the uk, is it having any effect?
Yeah, I'd seen the splits of the game last week. Interested to see it this week too.
Pretty crazy that microsoft managed to keep some form of a grip in the uk after the colossal mess from the start of the gen. I find it hard to believe the console split is that close in the uk

Yeah I was hoping for a better entry but Focus normally budget approprietly so hopefully it still does well for them.Disappointing debut for Call of Cthulhu, however the game seems to be priced too high for the length and amount of content it offers. I know I'll be getting it later.
The same week for the same market exactly one year ago is totally relevant. What is it about last year's chart that is upsetting you?LOL, no , comparison posts need to be relevant . You pointed out ZERO comparison talking points. Congrats !
I'm surprised the hardware split is (was?) that close considering that the (physical) software splits are typically more like 65/35 on average (and sometimes more like with RDR2 or SC6). Either Xbox owners buy fewer games, Xbox owners buy more games digitally instead of physically, or there are a lot of dormant Xbox Ones out there. Digital sales numbers can't come soon enough.

I think that's more a case of Xbox 360 being the main CoD platform last gen, so many CoD fans - and for many it's the only game they play - simply bought the new Xbox without even considering an alternative.Or Xbox owners are more found of first person shooters as COD is almost 55/45 which is inline with hardware split. usually 3rd person action adventure does better on PS than xbox and FPS does better on xbox than PS relative to userbase.
I'm sure there's a lot of different factors that go into it, like the slightly higher digital ratio, larger shooter audience and so on. One factor I think a lot of people forget is if someone owns both base consoles, the PS4 version is almost always the version to get.The same week for the same market exactly one year ago is totally relevant. Shame we see another Switch 3rd party bomb in the UK. Real shame
Drop for the PS4 version of RDR2 is -66%. Similar as in Japan (-74%), and bigger than in UK (-51%)
