Warner's 'Lego Harry Potter Collection' re-enters the chart at No8 with the release of its Switch and Xbox One formats, while Sega's 'Football Manager 2019' makes the Top 10 in its debut week in at No9. The No15 spot sees another re-entry due to the release of its Switch format, this time Activision Blizzard with 'Diablo III: Eternal Collection'. Our final new release in The Top 40 comes in at No27 for Maximum Games' 'Call of Cthulhu'.

All of it sounds about right, MK8D back in the top 10 after a week or two of dropping out. MK7 is steadily climbing up, are 2DS bundles selling more or something?

I don't think it will. Split between the two versions and on a much smaller username than RDR2 means I reckon it will be 2nd and 3rd.

That doesn't mean it won't have long legs. I could see it remaining in the top 10 well into the New Year.

Monster legs incoming for RDR2 as expected. Curious to see what happens when Red Dead Online launch also.

Still cool to see some PlayStation VR Worlds (aka PS VR sales) and Astro Bot hanging a little bit one month after the release. Some real word of mouth here.

Spyro comes out the same week too. Reckon there's a chance it'll debut higher than either LGP &LGE but below the two of them combined, mainly because of its cheaper price.

And stunning performance by Spider-Man to beat Assassin's Creed Odyssey even though it comes out one month before.

The climb for XBOX versions of Tekken 7 and Project Cars is lower than I expected. I figured they'd both break the top 10.

FWIW Diablo III was quick to rise to no1 on the eShop this weekend. Smash is doing incredibly so it'll probably overtake it soon if it hasn't happened already but yeah that's just added context.

I struggled to find a physical copy of Diablo III on the Switch anywhere this weekend. Argos is sold out and I found one in Game for £48.99, so I thought fuck it an I ended up buying it digitally From the SA store in the end.

I was just going to post that, I had to go to an Argos just out of town to get it and even then they only had one copy in the store.

Looking at Diablo's retail position and assuming a digital ratio anywhere between 30 - 50% doesn't that tell us it only takes a relatively small number to hit number 1 on the eshop?

Disappointing debut for Call of Cthulhu, however the game seems to be priced too high for the length and amount of content it offers. I know I'll be getting it later.

Dunno, I'm just providing context. Not even Zhuge et all have access to concrete eShop data so it's fruitless IMO to assume anything to that effect.

Red Dead Redemption 2 looks to have plenty of stamina, as it posted the biggest second week sales of any title this year. With a fall in sales of only 51 per cent on its huge opening week, it outdid FIFA 19's second week tally by a considerable 19 per cent.

I know its partly bundled, but so are alot of those games in the top 10.

And RDR2 domination, once online launches its going to explode, great results all round. Also to note, games sales in UK increase tremendously during this period upto Xmas, so the top 10 here are shifting units in big numbers (relative to the year).
