Got that one via VolcanianNot even necessarily an animal, but a fire/water type. Probably a balance nightmare though.
Interesting story here.I guess Zorua is inspired by tanuki, but it would be nice to have an actual one. Everyone wants to have a Tom or Nook nicknamed Pokemon!
Zigzagoon is obviously a racoon but then its evolution is more mongoose like?
It would have to be a one of a kind Legendary because we all know about the issues French Bulldogs have actually breeding.
Zigzagoon's called the Tiny Tanuki Pokemon in japanese. do with that what you willI guess Zorua is inspired by tanuki, but it would be nice to have an actual one. Everyone wants to have a Tom or Nook nicknamed Pokemon!

So, I did some research and in Japan some areas refer to tanuki to mean raccoon dog, but in other places it can also refer to a badger. So that seems to be the idea...raccoon dog to badger. So then the western Galar one is a more western-y idea of a raccoon to a badger to a honey badger.
Zoroark is a fox, which in Japan have similar powers. We don't have a mystical tanuki Pokémon though.
One Pokemon for every fucked up thing that ants do or that happens to ants.
Not an animal but yeah grass/fire pepper was one of those "no shit" ideas fans have wanted forever. We got my most desired pokemon this gen (a grass / fire pepper) so I'm good.
Monitor lizards, skinks, stonefish... so many. We're missing lots of interesting Australian/NZ animals still: Tasmanian devil, Tasmanian wolf, wallaby, wombat, cassowary, emu, kiwi bird, platypus, echidna and dingo...
I had wondered how the hell I missed this, but then I realized it was an event mon. RIP me.
It actually evolves into a normal looking dolphin, it form changes into an abomination.A dolphin but it doesn't evolve into an abomination this time.
My only holy grail is more dog Pokemon tbh. Every new kind is an A+ addition.
People, I know what Garchomp looks like and that is not a hammerhead. 🤨
Nah, it's a disservice to platypus.
That is a duck, good sir

The thing is evil, one of the most interesting typings in the series and they've only given it out twice.I had wondered how the hell I missed this, but then I realized it was an event mon. RIP me.
Indeed it's great, we need a golden retriever nextit's time
for a cordyceps pokemon
There are SO MANY dogs and birds in Sc/Vi.
As a mythical pokémon. Could have a nice background storyline: This Pokémon driven into extinction by human behavior, but thanks to recent cloning attempts we have exact one living specimen.
This. I'll wait forever if I have to for a Pug Pokémon because I just know it's gonna be perfect. My only holy grail is more dog Pokemon tbh. Every new kind is an A+ addition.
I stand by what I said lmaoIt actually evolves into a normal looking dolphin, it form changes into an abomination.

Psyduck is cool but it's just a cartoony duck.
Look if Togedemaru is a hedgehog, Psyduck is platypus. I don't make the rules here. That is a duck, good sir
I see no beaver tail. It evolves into a bigger duck, and its literally called psy"duck"
Gonna drop some lore. That is a duck, good sir

Normal/Steel, or even just pure Steel.I can't even imagine what type combo a golden retriever pokemon would have. I guess normal/fairy? But fairy-types are so fucking nerdy.
Normal/Steel, or even just pure Steel.
Because, you know, "gold".
