Everything they've shown has been visually stunning, but I fear the plot/cut-scenes are going to be overly long and decadent. I hope that's not the case, but Kojima and Refn together is making me worried.
I want the cutscenes to be long and the ending to be 45+ minutes like in MGS4.
I hope it has a Policenauts-esque scene where you can explore his collection, that room looks wonderfully lived-in.
MGS4 baby.Everything they've shown has been visually stunning, but I fear the plot/cut-scenes are going to be overly long and decadent. I hope that's not the case, but Kojima and Refn together is making me worried.
This.I want the cutscenes to be long and the ending to be 45+ minutes like in MGS4.
Yup that is what's interesting lol.I love how the negative comments towards this can't exactly identify what's wrong besides, "it's weird and I hate it."
Honestly some modern games already beat MGS4. Try to play for some hours AC Odyssey, there's a cutscene every five minutes of "gameplay", and they are way too long and uninteresting too.
I am sorry honey but couldn't care less about playing ubisoft games i rather look for blank wall than playing those games.Honestly some modern games already beat MGS4. That has to be the most detailed shelve in a videogame so far.
No I mean it was an example. In MGSIV at least cutscenes were interesting, they were way too long in many cases but provided some info. In Odyssey they are long and useless.I am sorry honey but couldn't care less about playing ubisoft games i rather look for blank wall than playing those games.
But does it have toilets that surpass DE:HR?That has to be the most detailed shelve in a videogame so far.
Yup that is what's interesting lol.
Really curious why this dude decided to trap himself in this loop.
If I'm reading it right, he doesn't have much of a choice? His heart condition kills him every 21 minutes, and he lost his family to the other side and so uses his 3minutes before becoming brain damaged to search for them?
kojima explained this in SDCCOh dang, did I really miss all of these details in that short video? haha. Thanks for the explanation.
Looks photorealistic as fuck
Oh gotcha. I haven't paid too much attention to the game outside of small videos like this.
I don't want to dunk on it too hard, but God how is it that every Assassin's Creed cutscene is simultaneously tied for the most boring piece of media ever made by a human.Honestly some modern games already beat MGS4. Try to play for some hours AC Odyssey, there's a cutscene every five minutes of "gameplay", and they are way too long and uninteresting too.
Same for me, but at least before Odyssey I don't remember so many cutscenes every two minutes of gameplay.I don't want to dunk on it too hard, but God how is it that every Assassin's Creed cutscene is simultaneously tied for the most boring piece of media ever made by a human.
I think I was spoiled growing up with Katamari, MGS, and Suda51 games which have ruined all future AAA cutscenes for me.
Same, honestly. What the fuck is his and Deadman's gimmickAlso his story sounds super interesting. If that's why he's called Heartman than I can't wait to find about why Die-Hardman has that name.
Regardless of the quality of the final product, the marketing for this game deserves an award for sure
I've been waiting for a Kojima game this plot-heavy and self-indulgent since MGS4, and I don't think it's going to dissapoint in that regard.Everything they've shown has been visually stunning, but I fear the plot/cut-scenes are going to be overly long and decadent. I hope that's not the case, but Kojima and Refn together is making me worried.
That's nothing but a theory born from a desperation for everything to be connected, that is going nowhere. That white figure is a sculplt of a BT (Beached Thing), a creature that exists only in Death Stranding.
I'm guessing it's something to do with him being hard to kill.If that's why he's called Heartman than I can't wait to find about why Die-Hardman has that name.
I love how the negative comments towards this can't exactly identify what's wrong besides, "it's weird and I hate it."
They are credited thoughHad no idea these select characters are being voiced by uncredited actors. Seems really dumb to just have recognisable faces in the game for no reason other than they're Kojima's friends, but whatever I guess
