There are some PSVR games that run at 120fps without reproduction, such as Polybius. To further clarify what someone else said - PSVR has always supported higher refresh rates because they achieve this through reprojection. The actual engine is never rendering more than 60 frames per second, with reprojection creating all of the additional frames (whether that is doubling 45 to 90 or 60 to 120).
The games run on Unreal Engine 3, which isn't supported by the current gen consoles. The PS4/XB1 versions are likely it for the time being. Will look into it when they release the native PS5 version. Seems pointless to pick favor framerate on PS5.
Yeah, I think I'll wait this one out until I get a new TVI getting more mad i didnt went with a 120hz tv last year. I wasnt expecting so many games getting 120hz support..

Tough choice. I might be getting a Series X this month…. but I don't think I'll be collecting many physical Xbox games… 🤔 will just wait for DF's analysis I think.
That's sad. I think I will just give it a pass then. The games run on Unreal Engine 3, which isn't supported by the current gen consoles. The PS4/XB1 versions are likely it for the time being.
Probably via EA pass in a year's time.Eh probably still get it for PS5 over Series X, trophies are too important and I have yet to notice a big enough difference from 60 to 120 for it to matter to me. However if it's on Gamepass that's different.

Crysis Remastered was released in September but still not out on GP/Ea Play yet.

Oh my bad, I thought it was under the EA publishing banner.
I haven't messed with it in a long time.Oh, good call.
I know there are mods, but they always seemed "shitty" to me, where you're like using an analog stick to drag a cursor around to select a power.
Maybe they got better since I last tried though.
Yeah, I think I read they would have to do a full remake to get it as a native game for the new consolesThe games run on Unreal Engine 3, which isn't supported by the current gen consoles. The PS4/XB1 versions are likely it for the time being.
Get it on Xbox if you have a 120hz TV.
Nope, it'd be my first Xbox console and I'm a GPU subscriber already.
Most of them will noticeably sacrifice resolution (1440p or mostly as low as 1080p even on XSX), which personally I will never accept for my calibrated LG OLED / 4K TV.I getting more mad i didnt went with a 120hz tv last year. I wasnt expecting so many games getting 120hz support..

I would switch for 1440p/60 + Ray Tracing: On compared to 1440p/120 with RT: Off any day of the week tho, especially for actual next-gen only games which will be much more demanding than current cross-gen/upgraded ones. That seems a little silly, as 1440p still looks great, especially with modern reconstruction techniques.
Signed,
Somebody who also has a calibrated 120 Hz OLED 4K TV.
Never too late for Sony to work on the B/C tech further improving it, I'm sure if they're given enough push maybe by media for their lack thereof compared to Xbox maybe they could fix itUgh damn it. Ill wait until I get a XSX. No chance of a PS5 upgrade?
Just set your console to 60Hz lol
Unlikely they will make this a native game.Ugh damn it. Ill wait until I get a XSX. No chance of a PS5 upgrade?
