/shrugThen why are they releasing Ace Attorney collection later this year on Xbox then….?
Should be, since many are playing it emulated onlineNo crossplay. I'm assuming PC will have the biggest online audience?
You……you realize that the PS5 plays PS4 games….right?I really don't get how Ps5 is not getting this, but hyped either way. Hell yeah day 1

Already has its PC port, and I'm sure the licensing for it is absolute hell
Probably, still terrible for that userbase as it seems like something that should be simple to port.No Xbox is due to both low sales on Xbox and the fact that they aren't implementing crossplay so there wouldn't be a playerbase, is my reckoning
Actually, the reasoning might be what I saw in another thread.
MT Framework Xbox One Engine is no longer being worked on. However, it's still supported for PS4/Switch/PC
So by proxy, there's no Xbox version. Same as to why there's no PS5 version of MT Framework games.
Great Ace Attorney was MT but everything after is RE Engine now I think? Would explain why Xbox got Ace Attorney games but no Mega Man as well
It may also be related in some ways to the Spider-Man licensing.
That came out in 2017 though, no need to remake something so relatively new, especially when the fans are already doing a great job at that.I'm hoping this means Capcoms cooking MvC4 in the background 👀
Does X-Men CotA relate to Sony's X-men exclusivity deal in any way? Maybe they worked something out with Sony and they blocked Xbox.It may also be related in some ways to the Spider-Man licensing.

I do wonder if the Xbox is a mistake. Very weird.

Capcom was cooking in this era.
New players and most of all, young players will need this mode, many people will be jumping in for the first time
You mean the platform where Sony publishes Horizon Adventures?
Does X-Men CotA relate to Sony's X-men exclusivity deal in any way? Maybe they worked something out with Sony and they blocked Xbox.
these are like 20 year old games. They would find a way to get them on any platform they could if they thought there was an audience for it. Most likely these kinds of collections (Capcom has released a good amount of them) didn't perform well on Xbox and they decided whatever costs go into the licensing and publishing were not worth the effort to put this on Xbox.

Do you have a source for that? I was under the impression Sony had no control over the character in other games but I honestly haven't found any evidence to it.No, Spider-man can appear in collections on other plaforms, just so long as those collections also come out on playstation.
Its got nothing to do with that, it is either code or belief in lack of sales.
