It's looking like 5-20cm of snow, plus freezing rain and rain for Nova Scotia. Thankfully I am off on Tuesday so I don't have to travel in it. Also kinda sad that I'll miss having a snow day...

Some of the models are hilarious the GEM (RDPS) keeps bombing the Lehigh Valley with 30in, meanwhile you have a Hi-Res version of the NAM showing 12-13in lmfao.

Pretty surprised by the NWS doing an 18-22in Warning. Giving a 4in spread in a storm like this? Woof

I'm in the 1-3 in range, so that isn't bad at all. Then again, they said that the storm we got just before Christmas would only be about a foot. It was ended up being three.

It's nice to know that my brain still goes into cabin fever mode when I see a major snow forecast for my area. Even after 10 months of pandemic isolation.

What!?, minimum coverage has doubled in my area.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 14 to
18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

Where do you get these images with snowfall totals for other regions (such as massachusetts)

Weather.gov is run by NOAA

When you search your zip code you'll see the reporting station in the results. If you click into that you can get more specific charts. If in Mass it's the greater Boston area it's probably weather.gov/bos

It looks like someone beat me to it

I'm off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but I hope to god I don't catch a heart attack trying to clean 12 inches of snow from a 4 car driveway.
Good luck to folks that have to travel in this shit.

We got about 10 inches of snow in SE Wisconsin, and that was on top of the 7-8 inches we got last Tuesday.

Driving home from work last night during the snow was fucking awful, I felt like my car pretty much just slid all the entire way. Thankfully the roads were pretty much dead by that point.

These models are all garbage. They all say my area will get 8+ but my local news says maybe an inch today and it is a total crap shoot for tomorrow. Could be nothing or could be 12. I rather they all be realistic like my local station and just say they have no idea.

Lower than expected/missed SE MI? Got like an inch overnight and nothing forecasted over the next couple of days.

Up to 18 inches of snow expected in my area (north NJ).

Not looking forward to the inevitable power outages and shoveling.

I'm north of Chicago in the northern suburbs. Between the last snow and this one, there's well over a foot of snow on the ground, not counting where it has been piled up 2~3 feet high by plows.

Next weekend we're due for single digit lows.
