So then I guess buying the JP version also was a mistake. Oh well.
Arcade Archives already defaults to the flip grip orientation iirc.

I know Hamster is behind these but you're never too careful with boneheaded decisions these days, see not including the JPN roms because "reasons" , I don't think the emu wrapper/gui is even the same tho? Because if that had been the case we would have had TATE since day 1... I think?
No button remapping, no options from the main menu (half to press alt-enter for fullscreen and alt-F4 to quit), stuttering performance, audio issues.
That's what negative reviews are bringing up anyway.

Akumajo Dracula absolutely wrecked me, what with the flying blocks halfway through the first level.

You can attack and destroy the blocks with your whip. Just crouch and whip away.
