LMAO.

So does it contain classified information, or is it "nasty and untrue?"

nobody tried to impeach
World War 6 sounds pretty impressive actually. Skipping over Wars 3-5 is no small feat.
He's suggesting he'd be President for World War 3, 4, 5, and 6. Short World Wars. And all because of Bolton! Trump hired him and then prevented 4(!) world wars. Do you understand now why Trump is our greatest and most peaceful President?

What's happening, can someone summarize?

Opening statements done. Bolton's secrets leak showing foul play. Witness votes incoming. Pressure for Bolton to testify. White House making threats to GOP to vote against witnesses. Dems + 4 have the votes to allow witnesses. Moscow Mitch now threatening people to vote against witnesses. All hands on deck to try and stop witnesses and stop Bolton.

And here the f comes Lev Parnas at the Senate for some random reason trying to play his hand.

Democrats sitting in a win win position at this point. Corruption will stink to high heaven if witnesses are voted down, and the inevitable future release of bombs will just continue to paint these guys in a terrible light all the way up to election night. Dems could capture the senate under such circumstances.

Alternative, we get witnesses, get a confirmation of the bad shit and the republicans vote not to remove anyway, and it's nearly as bad because the dems have brought in a line of witnesses including one right there at the very highest of levels, while Trump only brings in...Hunter Biden.

These primaries are even more important than ever. Potential winner might be able to push through much agenda in the first two years.

Is Roberts going to block the "Manager Shifty Schiff are you doing this because you're jealous of Trump's enormous penis?" questions?

I had been disconnected all morning.

What the fuck is even happening?

Dems have enough votes for Witnesses, White House is going all scotched Earth, Parnas is walking into the Senate Galley like he owns the place. Am I close?

We have officially reached the "yeah he's guilty but it doesn't matter" phase.

That was pretty much the crux of Alan Dershowitz's entire argument the other day.

What blows me the fuck away is the notion that Trump withholding pre-approved tax payer funds to extort a foreign power to investigate a political rival isn't an impeachable offense but a President getting his knob polished by an intern is.

It's wild hypocrisy.

If this was a dem president the dems would have convicted and removed by now. With the GOP you're dealing with some of the most corrupt and disingenuous people in politics.

Democrat v. Republican president. They'd be fine with Trump sexually assaulting as many interns as he wants.

Bolton told Engel to investigate the firing of Yovanavich (sp) back in late September.

Bolton should probably testify, no?

Such a shame to see the GOP in such a bad situation where even the best outcome for them leaves them extremely battered headed into the elections.

I know that prayer before the Senate is not an uncommon thing but seeing it actually going on here today just struck me how fucked up that is for this occasion.

As if there were any doubt before, that question makes it clear Trump'll be acquitted. The "moderates" want it both ways.

Good thing all the evidence shows that his motive for withholding the funds was to get the Ukrainian president to announce an investigation into the Bidens. That he says after the fact when he realized he was in trouble he withheld funds because he was concerned about corruption in Ukraine seems irrelevant.

Ding ding. The Very Concerned Republican Senators can cite that exact answer as cover to acquit, since they can state that corruption in Ukraine is a legitimate concern, thus any amount of personal stake can be handwaved away because reasons.
