I can't see this being anything else other than one big waste of time. Hunter was appointed while Burisma was already being investigated for corruption, and likely knows jack shit. Biden himself will inevitably be questioned for pressuring Ukraine into firing that one prosecutor, but he'll justify it by saying that said prosecutor was actually fucking corrupt and that the EU wanted him gone as well.
Bringing in the Bidens for testimony will mostly be one big nothingburger. Fortunately, the senators can't question witnesses personally, and I can sett Roberts skipping over the soapbox fluff and just reading the actual questions, so only the defense counsel can really use the time to try and soapbox and accuse the Bidens of corruption with absolutely no basis.
