I'm crushed. Doom Eternal is probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a game

Currently playing The Order 1886 and Bug Fables. Bug Fables is a solid Paper Mario clone. The Order is...something. It's enjoyable for the $5 I spent on it, but it's not a great game by any means.

For the record, my favorite games of the generation are:

Hollow Knight
Into the Breach
Slay the Spire

Word - I'm 2 or 3 levels in and I haven't really read much about people's impressions prior to now but from what I've played I'm stunned it seems so overwhelmingly negative. This game is fantastic.

Now that I played through the base game again on Nightmare...I'm just glad that there are still AAA games that are allowed to be risky and dividing. I'd much rather take the occasional L when they simply don't click with me to have these special experiences like Doom Eternal. Even tho the Marauder STILL sucks as an enemy.

My biggest complaint is that you can see Doomguy's face, I never liked that detail
