Just Hulu and Nintendo Online right now. Costs $7.67 a month.

I have HBO Go, Netflix, and Amazon Prime through friends and family though.

Periodically subscribe to PS+, but haven't in a while—pretty much only when I play Bloodborne, because my PS4 is just for exclusives now.

Currently I have
Game pass for PC: $5 a month
Prime: $120 a year
GB: $35 a year
Spotify: $10 a month

also have access to netflix through Tmobile. I think this is way more content than I can consume and will not pay money for another sub

Netflix $17
Spotify family plan $15
VRV $10
HBO $10
Nintendo online $1.66
PSN $3.33
Cable and Fiber Internet $90 (I call every 12 months and renew my discounts with ATT fiber and DirecTV)

So, ~$148 monthly including everything above.

No Cable, cut cord last year, so I have

Youtube tv ($50)

Netflix ($0) comped by T Mobile, though will soon cost me $2 due to their increase. If the day came when T Mobile would stop comping Netflix, it would be dropped, other than maybe picked up a month here or there to binge the odd show like Stranger Things, but I won't keep it ongoing. They are losing value big time to me with the loss of Disney content, Friends/Office, other NBC stuff for me to keep around

WWE Network (WWE/NXT ppv's) $10, no problem paying this since ppv's used to run $30-60 a pop back on cable.

Hulu ($1 a month per a promotion, but getting dropped the moment this promotion price ends)

I will most likely have to pick up Disney when it comes out since the Disney/MCU/Star Wars catalog for $8 a month is highly worth it for me and way more desirable than anything on Netflix (especially once Netflix loses the Disney stuff, plus the shows will all be up my alley. This will essentially replace Netflix for me

Only Netflix, and Sirius XM for the car if that counts.

I imagine I'll have NSO by the end of the year, but I don't think I'll ever pay for PS+.

Netflix- now paid for by T-Mobile
Hulu- basic. Would drop but wife and kid enjoy.
Prime- It's really for the store benefits but we do watch some programming.
PS+
Apple Music Family Sharing plus 2TB storage
Marvel Unlimited
Suicide Girls- we know someone who is active in the scene, wife likes me to 'like' all her stuff. Not complaining lol.
CBS All Access- wife watches the reality shows.

I think that's it? Don't feel like doing the math. Hulu and Apple (and formally Netflix, maybe CBS?) are the only ones not paid yearly. We also use my in-laws sign in info for HBO Go, Showtime, Discovery, Starz, NatGeo, Animal Planet etc. I usually get PS+ when the subs are $40, couple of years at a time.

I've got 3:
Xbox Live
WoW
FFXIV

I don't plan to get more (I'd split a family plan for Nintendo's thing but it's not worth the cost solo), and I dread the "everything is subscriptions, you own nothing" future.

I'm a very rare subscriber and keep it to a minimum. I used Humble last month but I only get that if I want the highlighted games. I care about ownership too much to use things like Gamepass and I also refuse to pay to play online. For music occasionally I'll buy a month of Spotify if I'm traveling so I can use it offline on my phone but otherwise I prefer to just use free services or actually buy the music I really like. With TV I'm just not an avid enough viewer and we have a decent amount of free services here in the UK so I'm often content with that.

My main one is Spotify Student + the subs that come with it like Hulu. I also use a family Netflix account and I got Nintendo Online for $10 with the MM2 bundle.

Only Netflix and PS+. I had HBO during the final season of Game of Thrones, but I dropped it as I don't have time for it. I barely have time to watch and play the most interesting ones from the two services I have. My backlog in both of them is huge, and it's highly unlikely I'll ever have the time for all of them.

Crunchyroll (£65/year)+ Nintendo online (£35/ family /year). Both split with my sisters, so I'm actually paying a fraction of that.

I do have a ps+ sub but I'm letting it lapse whenever it comes around in the next few months, only still have it because I bought years in advance.

I have five out of those six.

Only one I don't have is online media video content subscription (e.g., I don't sub to Giant Bomb, paid Twitch channels, or anything like that).
  1. YouTube TV
  2. Netflix, cheapest one
  3. Amazon Prime (not really for streaming, more for free delivery but whatever I'll take streaming too; I suppose I get Twitch Prime out of this but I've never used it, not really into Twitch)
  4. Hulu, cheaper one
  5. Xbox Live
  6. Xbox Game Pass ($1 promo thing)
  7. EA Access (will cancel after this year, I don't use it ever)
  8. Google Play Music w/ YouTube Premium
  9. New York Times
  10. Washington Post
  11. I'm a sustaining donor to two NPR stations & ProPublica
I have other content/service subscriptions but those are the ones I "use" the most I'd say.

Up until a couple weeks ago, nothing. Now I've got a Spotify sub (3 months for $10) and I subbed to Giant Bomb ($5) this month to watch their Mario Maker 2 stuff. Won't be renewing either sub.

Most of the time I'm not subbed to anything, although I do use my parent's Prime and Netflix accounts.

Netflix (currently nothing - had a 12 month voucher)
Stan (Australian TV streamer - $17)
Amazon Prime ($7)
NBA League Pass ($16)
NFL Game Pass ($300 yearly)
Spotify ($12)
Origin Premier ($130 yearly)
Xbox Live Gold ($50~ yearly)

It's probably excessive, but I'm very comfortable with it. I could go without Prime, Origin and Xbox Live, but the rest are essential for me.

Spotify - will pay till the day I die. Most used sub ever and they could raise the price for as much as I use it.
PS+ i use regularly and usually buy on discount.

Netflix - I don't pay for it, I use someone elses, but I also very very very very rarely use it.

  • Switch Online - paying $7 per year due to splitting a family plan 5 ways.
  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - paid $96 for 2 years.
  • PS Plus - have a 1-year subscription code that I paid $45 for, haven't activated it yet.

I will probably use the PS+ code later in the year. I usually don't like being subscribed to Xbox Live and PS+ at the same time, but the recent Game Pass deal was pretty good.

I don't watch much TV. When I do I usually just watch it with friends or family and use whatever subscription they have. Don't watch many movies either.

What is essential about Stan for you? I find the movie lineup great, but don't use it as much as Netflix so I'm thinking of dropping it.

NowTV, Prime & Netflix
PS+

The three TV services replaced Sky TV subscription and is cheaper than that so quite happy there. I would rather not pay for PS+, but it is what it is. I had Spotify premium for a bit, but didn't use it enough to justify paying £10 in the end.

I try to avoid addional monthly bills where possible so not really a fan of subs in general! I'd rather own shit personally.

I'll probably pay for PS+ when i actually become invested in online multiplayer games. For now, single player keeps me content.

Shared Amazon Prime account for the household, PS+ which I pick up on yearly sales, and a 5$/month sub to EZA's Patreon. I also use the "free" Twitch sub from Prime on EZA.

No other services atm. Recently canceled Netflix. Will sub to Disney+ in the future. Also looking at picking up Regal's theater pass when it comes out.

  • How many subs do you have active at the moment?
10
  • How much do you pay per month for these services?
In total: ~$60
  • Which services are you subscribed to?
PS+, PS Now, Nintendo Online, Xbox PC gamepass, FFXIV, Giantbomb Premium, Apple Music, Patreon, Discord Nitro
  • And most importantly, how do you feel about the amount of subscription services you are subscribed to?
Fine, because I use all of them.

Currently subscribed to:

Sky Q - My most essential sub

Netflix - currently subscribed because of new seasons of Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black and Glow. Will not renew after that. Sky Q covers my 99% of my TV needs.

PS Plus - I haven't played an online game in years. Will not renew in 2021.

Nintendo Switch Online - I still have not played an online game and the NES games are not my cup of tea. Game coupons and cloud saves are the main reasons for me and 20 bucks per year is cheap enough for me to keep it.

Apple Music - i'm deep into the Apple eco system. Sub is great and used regularly.

Netflix 4k - $16 per month
Amazon Prime $10 per month

I let HBO Now lapse a few weeks ago, will probably bring back Hulu soon.

Got a year of Switch online for $10 with Mario Maker.

So roughly $28-ish a month, on average?

- Spotify ($10)
- Game Pass Ultimate ($1 for now, but I'll pay the $15 when the time comes)
- PS+ ($6ish/month CAD)
- Giant Bomb Premium ($3ish/month)

Total $35ish...but more like $20 right now. I do have Netflix and Britbox, but my fiancee pays for it.

I think "game subscription services" and "gaming infrastructure" should be one category. I mean I'm wouldn't be subbed to PS+ if not for the free games.
