is there something wrong with the square website? i tried to recover my password hours ago and i still haven't received an email
Na password retrieval is obviously automated that'd be so weird. I just checked and got mine instantly. Probably spam folder, or just bugged out and didn't send.I've never had to go through their support, but it may take until Monday to hear back from them. I think they actually have people that handle stuff like that, instead of being automated. For a company with three active MMOs, they're really behind in the support department.
any controller pc players here that had/have the controller unresponsiveness problem?
I had that problem with a DS4 I was using wired and with an X1 controller I bought just because of the DS4 problems.Yea, I have a PS4 controller, and sometimes it becomes unresponsive. Causes me to walk into mechanics, or in a direction for a few seconds.
Nope hadnt noticed that on my end.any controller pc players here that had/have the controller unresponsiveness problem?
Yeah, especially with the echo. Still need to know the mechanics for a lot of it though.I'm 80, mostly eden gear, will doing 70 raids like deltascape which I've never done before be easier even though we're level capped @ 70 just b/c stats are as high as they can possibly be?
There was a QA from Gamescom that helped clarify some Shadowbringers plot points.
Major spoilers in there.
I'm a bit surprised on the answer for Question 4
They say all the souls on the source reap the "benefits" of the rejoining by becoming bigger and stronger, but folks on the source don't really seem that much stronger or more intelligent than people on the First who have presumably been unaffected by the rejoinings (at least from what I understand from how the game explains rejoinings affecting the Source). Maybe there is a strength difference that made the Scions more effective on the First, but seems at the very least the people on the First should be significantly less intelligent as they have 1/7 the soul of the average individual on the source (especially with Emet Selch explaining splitting a soul in 2 also halves the intelligence) but didn't really get a sense of that in the MSQ.
I know before this explanation some people were speculating the rejoinings were mostly affecting the soul of the WoL and perhaps those with the Echo, which seemed to make more sense (in terms of the apparent similarities of those on the First and Source) even though the precise reason why it would only affect them remained unclear.
I'm just chalking it up to video game logic. The enemies/allies couldn't be ridiculously weaker than us. Though the only issue it caused in my opinion was Ranjit, who felt way too strong for no reason.
I feel like the Echo is something else unrelated to the Rejoining, considering it can be artificially replicated.
On a side note found out my account got banned for responding to Aether hunt drama so that's cool. There was a QA from Gamescom that helped clarify some Shadowbringers plot points.

Most of that stuff was in 2.0How is this game a mainline FF O_O
Rape, Human trafficking, prostitution... I never thought I'd see something like that in a mainline Final Fantasy.
I have insane time coming up with outfits.
I have spent inordinate amounts of time doing nothing but playing virtual dollhouse and I regret nothing. It's like getting sidetracked by the cabaret club in Yakuza 0 all over again.

I know I've seen a couple of nice looking tank-compatible jackets, but I'll assume you've long since gone over all of them.If they ever make a legit long jacket type thing with no armor or crazy guilded stuff on it like the new fireglass stuff. I might loose days
Thanks! Houses are basically just glamour you can't wear, if that helps you focus any. ;pNice, that looks awesome! Whenever I see such well decorated houses shown off it makes me really tempted to buy my own, but I'm always too poor in this game. As soon as I get a decent amount of gil I end up spending up on glamour on the MB. Maybe one of these days I'll take up crafting/gathering in earnest to make some gil lol.
People fighting among each other about low DPS while they can't do mechanics is hilarious.
If it helps ease the temptation, I just sat in front of an open house plot spamming a sign for 12 hours and ended up losing it to someone else.Nice, that looks awesome! I may have legit gone through everything. I don't want my GNB (and DRK for that matter) running around in full suits of armor. I prefer the jacket look so I have gone through... a lot. What I want is a cool, modern-ish looking long coat, and my option for that is...snows coat. And while I own that, its one of those things that so identifiable with another character that it doesn't work for what I want. I am using his pants right now though. The fireglass thing is damn near perfect , if only it was longer.I know I've seen a couple of nice looking tank-compatible jackets, but I'll assume you've long since gone over all of them.
I believe if you do your class quest, specifically the level 60 one, you'll get good gear that will let you progress no problem. Once you beat the expansion, you can buy item level 260 gear at Idylshire so you can keep doing the post patch stuff as well.I've been playing through Heavensward and have been enjoying the story, but I just reached a point in the MSQ where I need to do the Aetherochemical research facility and I've hit a roadblock because it's saying my item level is too low. First time It's happened to me and I'm pretty annoyed, I just want to progress through the story :/
So far I've been able to do just the MSQ and haven't had any problems, until now. Is this going to become a common occurrence from now on? If I have to grind for gear to be able to progress though the story for the rest of the expansions I'm going to be bummed and might consider stopping.
currently at item level 135, I checked the market and gear is really expensive, I'd go broke in no time if I tried upgrading everything from there.
I don't think there's one but in encounters starting in 3.1 and beyond they have become standardized. Any group in mechanics will be indicated by a circle with four arrows pointing in.Any guide on the attack indicators? Like the one you should group together or what the blue area means etc? I swear there is no guide somewhere in game
Larges are the first to get sniped all across.Do we have any news about housing on the new servers? I got my 3.something mil so I'm all ready for this.
Related, for those who played a while already: how much stressing out am I looking at, when I really really would like to get a house once they're available? Which plots usually are the first to get sniped? (Probably Shirogane if that makes a difference)? Me and a friend already scooped out a nice neighboring situation but I have no idea what to expect.

If you have time in your day please run MSQ roulette for the 500 tomes and you'll be able to afford a lot of upgrades. So no guide online for this? Tried googling but it seems I cant find the correct phrase to searchI don't think there's one but in encounters starting in 3.1 and beyond they have become standardized. Any group in mechanics will be indicated by a circle with four arrows pointing in.
Its once of those things you'll have to see once and then hopefully you'll just know.
A blue AOE indicator is probably a knockback originating from the blue aoe with the inside of it being insta death (Sephirot Arena Punch, Titan Maximus Arena Punch)
I just did the level 60 class quest and unfortunately there was no gear rewarded :(I believe if you do your class quest, specifically the level 60 one, you'll get good gear that will let you progress no problem. Yeah, I guess that's the way to go, I also just discovered there are venders in ishgard that sell item level 255 gear cheaper than stuff I was finding on the Market Board, so I guess I'm just going to go ahead and buy a few pieces like that.If you are already level 60, I'd just say spend the Gil. I used around half my Gil to upgrade about each time I reached level cap from a previous expansion. I wasn't using it for anything else to be honest.
I still have some Allagan Tomestone of Poetics I got from doing the MSQ dungeons in ARR, they can also be used to purchase level 60 gear? I didn't know, I'll have to look into that.If you have time in your day please run MSQ roulette for the 500 tomes and you'll be able to afford a lot of upgrades.
